A really superb tasteful place.

A super place to stay and explore Cochem. A simple but very comfortable room with super shower room and gorgeous building and shared spaces. We loved the self service bar run on trust and the lounge.

Highly recommend

I can say that was our luck to stay in this place. I love it. If we go again to Cochem , we definitely stay in this place again. Service, location, atmosphere in Village Vinum is excellent! I love concept of “open” bar. There are fridges with drinks and glasses. People can jut take what ever they want, write on paper what they take and pay by the end of station. By the way it’s dog friendly hotel , that’s one more reason why we preferred this wonderful place.

Really lovely, we would return.

Lovely eclectic and individual Hotel, perfectly positioned just away from the Village centre, which as there was a Wine Festival on when we stayed, was a blessing, as the Village centre was a bit chaotic.

It’s right in the Main Road through Cochem, which means IF you have a room on the front, you do get some road noise up to 10pm, or after 6am.

Wonderful stay at the Villa Vinum Cochem!

Staff was so helpful. And really nice. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Hotel building was a wonderful mix of old and new. Lots of areas to hang out with family outside and inside. Location was close to the Mosel, wineries, and Cochem castle. So convenient. Also a short distance from other area attractions - suspension bridge and other castles. Parking was convenient. Beautiful flowers on the property. Available snacks and drinks in the lobby was nice.

A very comfortable stay, unfortunately only for one night. The room and the hotel were beautiful decorated. The breakfast was good. There was no minibar on the room, but a large area filled with drinks & little bites in the lobby. The garden was a great benefit.

Sebastian was so pleasant and helpful. the location is perfect with great parking. We took the large family room at the very top and it was like an apartment. Everything was wonderful!

Perfect Hotel in Cochem

The hotel is situated at a very nice location next to the river and close to the center of the village Cochem. Parking is available at the back of the hotel. Inside it looks very modern, but still with a romantic atmosphere. It was all very clean and I liked the toilet is separate from the bathroom. The shower was exceptional: large and very good water pressure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can absolutely recommend this hotel.

Only one little remark: I would like to have one large bed cover instead of two separate ones. No other negative comments.

The property is situated right on the beautiful Mosel river, and a close walk to a lot of the attractions in and around Cochem. The rooms are cozy, and spacious. Sebastian, the host was very helpful in getting us set up with dinner reservations and miscellaneous.

Amazing place. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic riverside location, only a few minutes walk from all of the cafes, bars and restaurants. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The Villa itself was beautiful although the breakfast room was a little too modern to be in keeping with the rest of the hotel. We were lucky enough to be able to eat our breakfast outside on the terrace with a view of the castle. A lovely varied buffet was served with very good coffee. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Parking to the rear of the property. Our room was at the rear overlooking the vineyards and was lovely and quiet.

Personal opinion, but having travelled extensively in Germany, a more traditional set-up in the breakfast room would have enhanced the hotel. It was dressed a bit like a canteen, whilst everywhere else the furniture was eclectic and antique. Note. Rooms at the front have an amazing view of the river, but are a little noises. Our friends stayed in one of these fabulous rooms.
