Amazing stay !

There was a lot of focus on a good experience eg the basket with towels and stuff, the lunch packet on our way out the wine on arrival and chocolates that was something you don’t see often

Tranquil and relaxing

Really liked the spa facilities. Had lovely relaxing chairs to sit outside and a spa bag. Had a fantastic massage. Lots of thoughtful touches such as a lunch bag on departure and bottle of local wine. Food in the restaurant was good. Nice outdoor area to eat on the terrace. Nice views. Spacious room.

The cutain in our room let quite alot of light in so we woke up early. We were in an annex room which wasn't as easy to access.

Good place and very romantic at breakfast area with candles and fresh plants which I love! Very recommended for couples

Very clean, and we love the sauna and swimming pool with bubbles! We visited end of August so not that busy which we like! Also very quiet around the areas. Just outside Cochem but if you’re with bicycles easy to get around the Cochem!

Pleasant stay in Cochem

Clean, spacious room, good breakfast, kind and helpful staff.

It was just OK but we will not return

Nice place good view after upgrading room. Friendly staff.

First room was no value for money with view on parking. No a la card restaurant, the only possibility to eat was the full menu of half board, which was too much and rather expensive. No written hotel guide. No possibility to drink something during the day. Every morning the same loud jazz music during breakfast. Rather small wellness area. Not enough parking place.

Staff was very friendly, excellent breakfast with non-dairy options included. (Yoghurt) Facilities were clean and not overly busy, with a lovely welcome package on room check-in which was refreshed every day with fresh towels.

Sadly no air-conditioning on the room, which was fine as we faced the north-side but still a bit warm. Dinner was excellent, but a bit pricey if you're eating with two.

Great hotel but customer service needs improving!

The location of this hotel was good and Cochem is a lovely place to visit! Rooms were a good size and the whole hotel was very clean. Breakfast was a great selection!

We had booked in for the Meet & Great Wine Tasting on the Wednesday, and planned our day around this. When we arrived at the bar we were told they wouldn't be running the event as they didn't have enough people. Staff were very dismissive and not helpful at all when we asked if there were any other wine tasting nearby as this was something we really wanted to do in the region. We would have liked communication to have been a lot better!

Nice stay at wellness hotel

Very nice hotel. Good wellness (sauna is naked wich isn't our thing), but the swimming pool is nice and relaxing. Free water and tea. The food in half pension was excellent for a great price. Great breakfast and very kind staff. Room was tidy but a bit tiny. Nice little things extra in the room (candy, bottle of wine and water, mask for sleeping, picknick bag,..).

We stayed in the guesthouse. So everytime we went to the wellness or restaurant we had to do al little walk outside. Not so much fun when in bathrobe and it is raining and cold. Not all staff spoke english but we maneged 😊 Bathroom was a little small. Hotel is a little outside of the centrum of Cochem, but it is a nice walk to the city centre along the Mosel river.

Staff really cares to make sure you have a good stay. Nice spa. Good breakfast. Kind touch upon check out to give a small food package for the way.

Not worth the money

The spa area looks very nice and clean. Also had a massage which was good and the staff at the spa was very knowledgeable. Breakfast had a good variety and was delicious!

- when we received the massage, you could here kids and guests very loud from outside. While the massage was good, it was not very relaxing. -As other people have reviewed, Nowhere here was it mentioned that the rooms at the annex had LOTS of stairs and NO RAMP OR ELEVATOR!!! BE AWARE BEFORE BOOKING! My mother has 2 prosthetic knees and it was awful for her having to walk up and down these stairs. when questioned if we could please have a room in the main building, they wanted the $70 difference. While the Hotel is nice, it's NOT worth over $200 a night. No view and not in walking distance to restaurants, sightseeing etc. When we told the front desk that they should mention no stairs/elevator is available, they said very rough "IT IS MENTIONED!" i immediately went on booking,expedia and priceline- nowhere is it mentioned. In the customer reviews it pops up, that's it. Best part though, instead of apologizing for the miscommunication, they said -quote- "if you're unhappy here we do not want you to stay here, we are happy to assist you in finding another Hotel" . Definitely won't return. There's many other/better options in Cochem.

Perfect for a romantic get away, without children.

The spa area was fantastic. The rooms were great, and services from the reception had that little extra that makes you remember them.

The dining had no childrens menu, and the dining option was overall very limited. Traveling with children will be complicated in this area. The hotel could have provided better information about this and suggestions on where to go for dinner with children.

Relaxed

Lovely breakfast, dinner, swimming pool, quiet area.

Expensive small one person room with no Airco ( 165 euro for a tiny little room ) when it has been 32 degrees all week... This room was overpriced. I came with my mother and my sister and I gave my mother my room, on ground floor which was huge in comparison with the little room and had airco. My sister had a standard room, also no airco, but at 185 euro it was compared to the little room much better priced. I would expect all rooms to have airco, in a modern hotel this is the 'normal' thing. I have stayed already several times in this hotel, in better rooms obviously, but in this case I needed to take what was left and these two rooms were below normal standard. I travel a lot, professionally and privately, and I know very well what is a 4-5 star hotel standard. I do like the hotel, don't get me wrong, It is in a quiet place, the restaurant is fine if you can dine outside, breakfast buffet is fine, and the pool is really nice, but I was not ok with the pricing of this tiny room.

Immer wieder gerne

Ein wirklich sehr schönes Hotel mit tollem Ambiente. Das Personal war durchweg sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstück war super lecker und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Auch der Spa-Bereich war richtig toll und perfekt zum Entspannen. Ich habe meinen Urlaub hier sehr genossen und komme gerne wieder.

Wellness und Erholung

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und es gab einen Begrüßungscocktail, alles war sehr unkompliziert. Eine schöne Einrichtung und ein schöner, gepflegter Wellnessbereich, dort gab es Tee, Saft, Wasser und Obst. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und man bekam auf Wunsch frisch zubereitetes Omelett, Kaffee aus der Kanne, aber auch Cappuccino usw. Alles in allem war für jeden etwas zum Frühstücken dabei. Es war alles sehr sauber, ordentlich und schön ruhig.😊

Entspannende Zeit im sauberen Hotel

Das Hotel hatte eine tolle Lage und war sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die angebotene Weinwanderung war Klasse!

Der Spa Bereich bietet leider sehr wenig Liegemöglichkeiten und war außerdem recht kühl. Der Pool und auch das Solebecken waren recht kalt und die Temperatur im Ruhebereich war nicht wirklich warm. Hätte man mehr Liegefläche mit höherer Temperatur, wäre der Aufenthalt noch besser gewesen

Erholung PUR in Cochem- Mit allen Sinnen genossen.

Von erstem Moment fühlt man sich willkommen- Herzliche Begrüßung vom Personal. Sehr schöne Zimmer - es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Moderne Einrichtung in tollen ruhigen erdigen Farben. Der Lieblingsplatz war für uns war die Lobby mit Kamin und dem Kronleuchter. Sehr gute Küche. Das 3-Gänge Abendmenü war klasse. Frühstück wunderbar - Omlette mit Lachs sehr lecker. Wellnessbereich sauber, schöne Theke mit Erfrischungen und schöner Pool- Danke für schöne Zeit bei euch!
