This was such a nice hotel! The owner was really nice, he texted us about where to go before we got there. The room was lovely too, it was clean, spacious and it had a balcony with a nice view of the river. Breakfast had loads of options. We could park for free by the river (a minute from the hotel), so that was great too!

This was the best accomodation we had on this trip around Europe. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room, and the comfort of the room. There were free parking spots nearby the hotel, and the location was also perfect, close to the center of Cochem with many restaurants and cafes to go to. The best part of our stay was the breakfast, which we didn't even realize was included but was really high-quality and delicious. Only one staff member prepared the breakfast on his own, so we were deeply touched by the effort. It was truly the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel, which was really unexpected for such a small accomodation in the countryside.

A very cozy hotel in an excellent location, just a 5–10 minute walk from the old town. The breakfast was delicious. Wine, beer, and water are available in the lobby. Free parking. I would definitely like to come back in the summer. Highly recommend to visit Cochem.
Just be aware that there is no elevator in the hotel. If you have mobility issues, make sure you get a room on one of the lower floors.

The room was spacious and clean. We loved looking out the window and seeing the Mosel River and castle!
I found the pillows uncomfortable.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Cochem!
The hotel is in a perfect location, just a short walk from everything. We stayed in a room on the fourth floor with a small balcony overlooking the city, and the view was simply stunning. Sitting there at night, watching the castle all lit up and the town below, was truly magical — a real wow moment.
The room was spotless and very tidy, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. We felt really good and relaxed during our stay, and we’ll definitely come back.
I also highly recommend the breakfast buffet — there’s a great selection of cold cuts and cheeses for a savory breakfast, and plenty of sweet options too. Everything was delicious and fresh.
Overall, a wonderful experience that I’d absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Cochem!

The room was quite big, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was varied and tasty, there was a place to store bikes at night
We got probably the worst room in the hotel, it had nothing to do with the one on the pictures. It was dark (no view, little windows), it was hot (no AC) and very noisy (main road just outside). No way one could relax there. And the bedding was cheap and looked as it has never been ironed. Bear in mind that the breakfast room is very small. Unless you go there early enough, you might have to queue for quite a while just to be seated.

The staff were excellent, good bike parking, away from the touristy traffic but close enough to get amongst it. The breakfast was spectacular.
We needed a fan in our room because it was very hot. The glass in The bathroom was see through and we felt a bit uncomfortable about privacy.

Excellent breakfast, many options, both fresh and delicious!
Excellent location with amazing views.. Unique room lay out to maximize three beds for our family, resulting in an comfortable stay for us all.
Fans were provided and we had the windows open, yet the room was still warm in the summer heat.

top service van Sebastian at the reception, We couldn't arrive at the time the hotel was open but after a phonecall he send us a what's app message with the information where we could find the key and pictures from the parking and our guest house. We found it without any problems thanks to his kind information

Breakfasts were fine and location close to the bridge was good as well. I learned alot about (new to me) hotels durint this three weeks road trip in DE, AT, IT, SLO etc. Next trip I will scrutinize tha info letter by letter before clicking book.....
Well, I expected a hotel, not a B&B with locked doors at arrival and when coming back early evening from walking in Cochem. At time of Booking I didn't find any info whatsoever about closed restaurant and bar. At the end of the day, isn't that what the info at Booking is all about?

I loved the staff. The breakfast was excellent. The honesty bar and goodies were a great idea. The room was big and had a nice balcony. It has nice parking close by for a car
I did not like lumpy pillows and prefer smooth sheets and duvets. Would have liked a kettle in the room and small fridge. The light yellow curtains does nor provide block out for a comfortable sleep. The shower is dangerously slippery and a small rubber mat should be available to put in the shower.

The hotel has real character, and was very clean.
There are many stairs but this is to be expected from a lovely hotel such as this. Nothing to complain about.

Absolutely fantastic. I have never encountered a place so much into customer service. The hotel is run by a family which is going to make everything in their power to accommodate your needs. From a super varied breakfast to a cozy room with a scenic view on the Moselle river.

Well decorated and comfortable hotel in a great location. Simple walk across bridge to get into town. Lovely views of the castle. Wonderful variety offered at breakfast including hot food and great coffee.

Stunning area, handy for central Cochem but nice and quiet. Good range of food for breakfast and free parking options (if you're lucky and can find a space - otherwise its 8 euros a day!). Charming old building with good views from the top floor. Decent wifi.
Our room was on the top floor up 4 flights of stairs (no lift). 50% of our room was a sloping ceiling that made the area your head went on the bed incredibly claustophobic. We had to pull the bed into the room and sleep the opposite way up. As two tall people, moving around meant lots of ducking and crouching. No air con and the fan was very noisy. Didn't want to open the windows due to bugs - lots of marks of squished mosquitos on the wall above the bed. Bathroom had an odd musty smell. Furniture and decor was dated and worn in places. Double bed was two singles with a sheet over, so there was a crack in the middle. Check out was early at 10:30 and we already had a cleaner banging on our door at 10 making us feel rushed to leave.

Close to many attractions, just a few mins walk from shuttle busses. Staff were awesome and breakfast was great.
Parking was limited, but reserved a spot in the hotel park house 1 block away - was worth it!

The location just back from the river was great, with just a short walk over the bridge to the centre. There is a garage nearby to park securely, good for motorcycles, four to a parking space. The breakfast was really good, and the trusting system of 'help yourself to snacks/drinks' out of hours was a great idea. The manager was really friendly and made us very welcome.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. The room was very nice,of a good size with great view. It was clean and provided the necessary facilities. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of options, all fresh and tasty. The hotel has parking options at a reasonable rate, or payment for parking on nearby roads was also reasonable, paying upto 6pm only. A short walk over the bridge to the main town area with its shops and restaurants.
Nothing negative about the hotel. Maybe visit the area after April when more restaurants appear to open for the season.

Absolutely gorgeous family run hotel. Lovely views from the room back over the river to the castle. Lovely family feeling to the hotel, which is nice when traveling with a family. Shirt walk over the bridge, easy to access sights from hotel. Would definitely go back and highly recommend staying. Breakfast was amazing. Best breakfast of our trip.
