good location

good location, bus stop right outside. The studio has two bathrooms with two showers which was lovely. The water pressure on one of the showers was really great. Really comfortable pillows on the bed as well.

The pan to use in the kitchen was dirty and had food burned onto it previously. There were no tea towels/kitchen paper or spare bin bags. I thought initially the kitchen would've had an oven, but it only had a hob. The TV in the kitchen also didn't work. There was also a handprint on the wall just above the bedframe.

Good and Satisfactory Accommodation along the River

Communication with the host was always clear and prompt. Our apartment had 2 WCs, a kitchenette, a balcony, and a bedroom - pretty spacious. We also liked the "mini bar" along the staircase.

The kitchen utensils could be better - e.g. there were no bowls or tablespoons, and the frying pan was not clean. Overall most of the facilities (e.g. the bed, the duvet, the showers) were good and satisfactory but not amazing.

Excellent location on the Moessel with a view of the castle. For a group of three the apartment offered 2 en suite rooms and a well supplied kitchen. The sofa bed was comfortable for a 6ft 2 man. The owner was very communicative.

Great place to stay, great area to explore!

Apartment #3 was, clean, large, and more than adequate for 2 people, with 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen with everything needed to make your own meals, a comfortable living area with a smart TV with Netflix and Prime TV, a comfy couch, and a table for 4. The windows in the living room and larger bedroom overlook the river. Reichsburg Castle is directly across the river on the hilltop! The river views are amazing both day and night! The Balcony/patio off the living area also had a table for 4 and was perfect for warm nights to sip wine and gaze at the river and Reichsburg Castle which is enchantingly illuminated at night! There was even an electric BBQ grill on the patio, and an awning for sunny days. The bathroom was clean, newly tiled, and the shower was large. Clean linen and towels were provided. The location is relatively quiet compared with areas closer to and right in Cochem. It was only a 15 minute walk to/from Cochem and 20 from the train station. There was a 'honor system' drinks station right outside the door to our room which had cold water, beer and wine. The prices were also reasonable.

The TV in the bigger bedroom was not working for some reason (even after checking the batteries in the remote control). The drinks station in the hall was out of apfelschorle. The door between the two bedrooms has a glass window in it so when the light is turned on in the either bedroom it shines light in the other. The stairs in the hall creaked loudly when people came to the drinks station or went up to the next floor.

The location was great, the room was clean, and the owner communicated proactively to make sure everything was in order. Check-out was smooth and hassle-free.

The placement of the toilet was a bit awkward, as the sink was partially in the way. And although this is a minor detail, the directions to the room weren’t entirely clear — a small map or visual guide could be helpful.

Nice and central location The windows could be fully blinded The guesthouse provides guests with information about food/activities in Cochem.

When I arrived the key was not in the locker, so I couldn't enter the room. I tried calling the host, but they did not pick up.The host is mostly not on site and tells guests he can best be reached through whatsapp/e-mail/messages. The bed and especially the pillows were not comfortable. The room was not soundproof at all, I could hear anything happening on the hallway. No toiletries provided.

A perfect place to stay in friendly lovely Cochem!

Everything was as expected and as described! the owner Aleksander went out of his way to help! it is a good walk from the train station but worth it! I ate at the restaurant he suggested and it was wonderful. The key box is very smart! friendly helpful Cochem!

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. I think the price is very reasonable for what you are given.

I really liked my room and bathroom. Everything was very clean and the bathroom had a very nice shower. They actually had a fan in the closet I was able to use when it got too hot. I was able to put my luggage in the hallway when you first walk in for a couple of hours until my check in time.

The only thing I didn't care for was my check out. It is listed that the check out time is 8:30 am-10:30 am. I was under the impression that I would be able to check out at any time during that 2 hour window. I was planning on checking out at 9:30 to give myself enough time to get a quick breakfast at a bakery and get to the train station, which is a 17 minute walk away. I could not find the host at 9 :30 and found out from the other guests they had left and were coming back at 10:00. The train I wanted to take was leaving at 10:18 and I did not want to miss it. They got back around 10:05, I paid quickly and had to really hurry to the train station, skipping breakfast. Thankfully, the train was late. If the train was on time, I probably would have missed it because I had like 15 minutes to get to the train station 17 minutes away. I would recommend to the host to be there during the entire 2 hour check out period or communicate to guests if they will not be there. Guests, I would recommend letting the host know what time you wish to check out upon arrival.

Location is directly opposite the river from the castle. Friendly & thoughtful owner who loaned me her electric kettle when she was not around for a day and she knew I had asked for hot water every night.

Wij hebben genoten van ons huwelijksreisje in Cochem.

De locatie tegenover het kasteel is echt heel gaaf dikke 10. We zaten hier onze huwelijksreis te genieten. Naar het centrum lopen is ook hooguit 10 minuten lopen. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Helaas was de locatie toen wij kwamen niet in top conditie, ik moet wel zeggen de eigenaar heeft ons netjes een vergoeding gedaan voor het ongemak en een fles wijn✅. De toegangsdeur naar de kamer is oud en luidruchtig en ik vond het toilet wasbak situatie wat onaangenaam.

Schone, comfortabele kamer. Afstand tot het centrum van Cochem was goed te doen. Alexander was erg behulpzaam. Er werd meteen gehandeld toen het rolluik vast bleek te zitten zodat we alsnog in een donkere kamer konden slapen.

Einrichtung des Zimmers ist modern und gemütlich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Sehr hilfreich fand ich die die Informationen vom Gastgeber über Cochem mit vielen praktischen Tipps. Frühstück beim Bäcker hatte sehr gut geklappt und geschmeckt. Schön ist der Blick von der Unterkunft auf Mosel, Burg und Cochem.

Immer wieder gerne nach Cochem, aber für den Preis gerne in eine andere Unterkunft

Die Lage der Unterkunft zum Zentrum ist einfach toll. In 10 Minuten ist man mitten im Geschehen. Das Einchecken mit dem Schlüsseltresor hat wunderbar funktioniert.

Unser Zimmer war ganz oben unterm Dach, dass stellte für uns kein Problem da. Leider war das Zimmer nicht schön und vor allem nicht gemütlich eingerichtet. Es befanden sich Haken in der Wand an der aber keine Bilder hingen. In den Wänden waren zum Teil Bohrlöcher, die nicht zugemacht worden sind. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Handtücher waren dünn und wirkten schon sehr verbraucht. Im Schrank befand sich eine Kaffeemaschine, die nicht gesäubert wurde, so dass wir sie nicht benutzen konnten und wollten. Das Badezimmer war ok, nur gab es leider einen Duschvorhang und ich persönlich habe ein Problem damit. Ist aber immer Ansichtssache. Leider war vor dem Haus auch kein Parkplatz frei, so dass wir erst eine ganze Zeit suchen mussten, um einen geeigneten zu finden.
