Great location, restaurant and employees, not so good bubgalow condition .

Very good restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the employees are super nice. The family bungalow view and restaurant view is great.

The bungalows have 1cm opening in makn door. We can ser through the floor letting all kinds of insects coming inside. We heard a lot of animal noices from the roof during night time. Cleaning people were loudly sitting on our balcony chatting from 09:00 in the morning when our neighbor or our bungalow were cleaned. 3 people to clean 20m square meters apartment seems unneccessary and they talked wery loud. But they were very nice tho.

Nice place and nice location.

Some small details from the room could definitely be cleaner, specially in the bathroom, things that are simple but yet disgusting once you see them. The photos from the property are different of how it actually looks right now and that’s confusing. The pool area is nice but it’s feels like you need to consume to be allowed to be there, not the best feeling I want in a place I’m staying and for that price. The diving is also quite expensive compared to other places close to the port. No special prices for guests staying in their rooms was a little disappointing.

right on the beach. have access to drinking water and a pool that’s part of the beach club attached. very close to shark bay and the john-suwan viewpoint!

there’s so so many steps up to the hillside rooms which was very hard to go up and down multiple times a day. the patio doors didn’t close properly so we had a lot of problems with bugs in the room

Completely shit, rooms are over 100 stairs high. When looking at the location on booking.com in comparison to where we actually have to stay is shocking and not at all as advertised. Not even near the beach. Refused to give us air-conditioning unless we paid an additional 2000 baht which was only brought up to us once arriving. Rooms look Completely different to what's advertised they are small stuffy with no amenities. No mini fridge, air conditioning and sometimes no running water or electricity. It is colder to go outside in the 35 degree heat due to how hot and humid these rooms are. The rooms are infested with bugs (I can understand a couple due to location however there were hundreds). Bugs in the bed and on the mattress, ants climbing in through the sink and shower. The balcony door also doesn't close fully which is clearly an issue. Rooms are dirty, carelessly cleaned. All towels have stains and marks on them which is just downright disgusting, also not sure the sheets on the bed were changed. I understand that this is budget accommodation however at this rate I'd rather be in a cell. Tried phone the helpline they provide on their booking.com,however it just leads to a automated voice mail saying the number is out of order. Dont often let things like this bother me however this Completely ruined my trip. I booked with this hotel to stay in a nice quiet location and get my diving certifications however the management is so shit I wouldn't trust them to run a bath.

Really loved being able to use the pool, such a nice setting we used it every day and loved the chill area of the cafe! Room was very nice just way too hot without air on - a fan is not enough in this heat! Lovely staff, would stay again just with air con next time!!

Our room was the very last room at the top of what felt like 100’s of steps which was tough with two big suitcases! And also the no air con made for some nights with little sleep. Felt for the price could have had air con included.

We had a room with just a fan (no aircon) and it was too warm (we are from NZ) however the staff happily moved us to a room with aircon and payed the difference (staff very accommodating). Staff were very friendly and offered a lot of suggestions on where to go and what to do. The pool was very clean and a lovely view.

Superb

The location was great! It was very quiet compared to the main center of town but there were several restaurants close by, The cove where New Haven is located had some of the calmest ocean water I have ever seen. It was perfect for sunbathing on the beach, wading, swimming, and even paddle boarding. Overall it was just stunning! The room was clean and had a comfortable bed and air conditioning kept things nice and cool. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our only real issue with the room was that there was not hot water for the shower. A secondary, minor issue was the stairs getting to the room. They were a bit precarious especially for my husband who had knee surgery recently among other health issues. I would not recommend for someone who has any difficulty with stairs.

very kind and helpful people, nice dive instructor and fun dives were well planned. Room was good, nice view, however only cold shower possible.

The pool and beach area belongs to a coffee next to the resort. You‘re allowed to use the pool, however all the people sitting around, having breakfast or coffee will watch you, which might feel uncomfortable. Also, we felt like we had to buy food/drinks from the (bit overpriced) coffee to stay at the pool.

very nice resort, great location, good value for money

very nice bungalow located on the hill side, quiète place, you don’t hear noise from the street, but the walls are pretty thin, so if you have noisy neighbour… loved the area far away from the main city hustle. Lots of places to eat nearby. We also dived with them and it was great, super professional and nice 👌

When we arrived the bathroom was invaded by so much ants. The swimming pool is located across the street more in the restaurant part, and every time we wanted to go someone showed up and said « the restaurant is closed »…

Nice stay

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was up a lot of stairs but nice when you get to it, compact but clean. Very quiet area, with little quiet beaches. Able to use paddle board for free for an hour for staying at the hotel which was nice.

There is a pool but it’s in the middle of the restaurant area so makes it a bit awkward to use, didn’t see anyone in it the whole time. There is also a few beanbags in the restaurant but no loungers etc to relax.

Lovely rooms, resort bang on the beach. Staff all so lovely and accommodating. Great restaurant relatively priced serving all day. Also free use of paddle boards to guests was fantastic.

Community Vibes!

The resort was bustling with different activities every day and is the perfect place for any social travellers. The dive school is family run and made up of numerous international interns conducting research and conservation projects which we thought was pretty darn cool. Opposite is a Japanese Restaurant and Art/ Design store along with a chilled beach bar next door for your celebrations after completing your dive. The main restaurant called Koppee is a popular meeting destination for locals and there is always something going on or people to meet, along with delicious coffee and all types of food. We loved the energy of the staff at new heaven above everything else. Dev, Khan and Pin were all super welcoming and supportive to us when we started our course and by the time we left we felt like part of the family. We would recommend the diving school and Khan as an instructor to anyone, especially someone who may be a bit nervous to begin with. He was as cool as a cucumber and took away any of that initial fear of diving, making the whole experience super enjoyable. Cheers for the fab time guys. Hopefully catch you in Koh Tao again 👌🏻 Amber and Jack 🌈
