Very friendly staff and good customer services

Located at the southern part of the island which is away from the busy tourist crowd, but it is still very close to main pier and with lot of places to eat and 7-Elven is also near by. Hotel staff is always friendly, room is clean and bright, and free water and install coffee and tea everyday. It even has a small pool. Good A/C, hot water shower and comfortable bed. A very budget friendly place to stay.

Perfect

Staff was amazing! Very very helpful , helped us get cabs , sorted out our boat trip , any time we needed help they was there I can’t recommend this place enough!

The only negative is that we didn’t stay here longer!

Lovely stay, very relaxing, great location.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at, from start to finish, they were so incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were very spacious and well laid out, you don't feel cramped at all, plenty of space. The little touches with the tea and coffee were nice as well, including a refill after the first night. The woman who checked me in was also particularly lovely, she made me feel so at home (I didn't catch her name - but a real sweetheart), she shared lots of local knowledge and just had a lovely personable approach. The location was also perfect, not right in the middle of it all, so a bit quieter, which was lovely, and only a short walk away from some of the main places you'd want to go, and the quieter, lovely beaches on the southern tip of the island. Would stay again for sure!

Great hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff

This was my favourite hotel during my travels. Hotel was immaculate with new towels, water and snacks left outside room everyday. Reception staff were so lovely and helpful. Location is not very central but the staff were very helpful over WhatsApp booking cheap taxis to and from the central locations particularly helpful for a nervous solo traveller like myself! I would definitely stay again!

Very friendly hotel in central location with fantastic local restaurants- great beds!

Staff very kind and helpful on arrival. Clear instructions for taxi lift to hotel from the port. Very comfortable beds and different snacks left in the room a nice touch. Pool was great too!

Nothing- it offered everything that was described in the details. It is very steep getting around to the beaches so be careful if hiring a moped. Would strongly suggest a higher powered moped.

Best choice in Koh Tao

I really liked the fact that it was super clean, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The brief I got upon arrival was great and helped me find my way through Koh Tao. 10/10 would recommend and will come back. The bed was nice and the shower was great.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is new and very clean, with lovely staff. They made us feel like at home. It’s in a great location, just a five minutes walk from the beach, with plenty of restaurants nearby. We highly recommend it if you’re visiting Koh Tao.

Everything! Great location, staff was incredible helpful and nice, spacious rooms. The whole island went out of power but the hotel has generators and kept light and high speed internet! I was able to work from the room with high speed WiFi. Every day they gave us free snacks. Great choice!

Great Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff took excellent care of us and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable at all times. The rooms were solid, clean, and well maintained. Having a private pool was a lovely bonus, and everything was well organized from start to finish. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend this place.

Great value for money if you need a place to sleep

It was exactly what we needed, a nice clean play to sleep for a couple of nights. You would need a scooter or a taxi to get around, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms, aircon. Friendly staff. They pick you up from the pier for free. Good value for money.

Clean, the hot chocolate that they give you is delicious and they give special touches with little cakes in the morning 🥰 laundry service was excellent to :)

That there wasn’t much around but that’s our fault we didn’t know which area was best to stay in thankfully the busy area was only 5 minute taxi :)

Clean and comfortable

The location is great: very close to the viewpoint and Freedom Beach, as well as several bars/restaurants. The hotel is also clean and comfortable with a pool and kind staff (they even gave us a keycard early so we could go on a day trip before check in!)

The accommodation is a bit basic and there aren't a lot of activities available to book through reception. Also not a lot of common areas beyond the pool. Still good value for money and one of the nicer, more modern hotels in the area.

Clean hotel with helpful staff in very good location

Nicely designed rooms, clean, and with lots of light. Rather quiet location, away from the noisy downtown, and yet short walking distance to Thai and western style restaurants, and Chalok Baan Kao bay with lots of diving centers. The pool is great, and my kids enjoyed it. The staff was super helpful - from providing information on snorkling trips, attractions, etc to laundry services and cleaning. You get nice snacks every morning. They also placed our room next to our kids' room in a rather quiet part of the hotel, as we asked. If you don't get a bike in koh tao, which we did not since we are with little kids, you are relying solely on taxis for transportation, which could be very pricey. The hotel provides free shuttle from and to the pier as well as the cheapest taxi service that we could find on the island - this was very convenient and saved us a lot of money. The staff is very responsive via WhatsApp 24/7 - a big advantage, and we also used that to book their taxi service when snorkling in a distant beach.

We had a funny smell in our bathroom when we arrived. Even though it was somewhat improved after we asked the staff to check it, it did remain to an extent until the end of our stay, giving an unpleasant "welcome" whiff when entering the toilet. Our kids' room was perfect, nonetheless.

Good value for money but not squeaky clean.

The staff were amazing and very nice Location very comfortable You can also rent motorcycle in the regular price with no further fee (the same place provide good laundry) They also came to pick us up from the pier for free which is very nice The location was great for us, its far from crowded areas but still close to everything In totall this is great space to stay- good value for money

Noisy room

The staff were incredibly helpful, they gave us a lot of information on checkin and printed off a map for us when we wanted to leave our phones in the room to go snorkelling. The hotel also picked us up and dropped us off at the pier, but specific times only. We could rent snorkels from the hotel for cheap. The location was perfect for us, only a short walk to shark bay. It was nice having a pool, which was open 24/7.

We were given a room close to reception and the staff room and so I was woken up around 7am both mornings by really loud staff starting their day - constant banging whilst staff were starting to clean so it was impossible to go back to sleep. It would have been great if the cleaning could have started a little later. We did request to change rooms to a quieter location, but they said they could not accommodate as we were only staying two nights, which was really disappointing. So I had really sleepy stay on Koh Tao. If we had a better room, I'm sure our experience would have been totally different. My sister paid for laundry, but they lost a pair of her trousers and gave her someone else's shorts. I had read reviews on here saying similar things had happened, so I think it's time for the hotel to procure a different laundry service. They still made her pay full price despite losing her trousers and said if she wanted to take the matter further shed had to speak directly to the laundry people. We also came in one night to find the water filter was empty, so we had to boil a kettle to have water for the night. I would've expected this to have been filled before staff left for the night. All in all, we were quite disappointed and would not choose to stay here again.

Staff were very helpful with assisting us during our stay, including tips for island, moped rental the lot. Except one staff member did send us the wrong way on our travels aha (must’ve been a mistake!) staff were lovely.

The facilities are limited, but good for the price, so you can’t complain.

I can’t wait to go back!

I like that it was super clean, the staff was amazing, really friendly and helpful. All your stay is made to enjoy. First thing is the pick up and drop off from/to the pier. AMAZING! Then we rented a motorbike directly through the hotel and how convenient! No passport or deposit asked and all of it was great. The room is super clean and the staff is so welcoming and they give a lot of tips and informations about the area.

Perfect place to stay at Koh Tao

The service is awesome. I was welcomed as a princess. Thank you very much. All services are in hotel. I get my scooter. Tuba mask and quick resume of the place to be and best snorkeling spots. It is very good price. Very good hotel place. Easy access. Restaurants and 7eleven by foot around. Rooms are cosy and illuminated. They come to pick you up when you arrive at the peer and after they also bring you to the peer for free if you respect precise hours

2 points for me were inconfortable : - shower room really moldy and it smells moldy also. Maybe a one good chemical cleaning could help. - AC smelt old gaz but it was ok after several hours of using. Still i slept not very good. The direction of AC is directly in the face / body and even if I put 26 degrees. I woke up at night having to cold. I put it off and after I wake up too hot ... Maybe it is only my sensibility

Great location near Shark Bay and at the quiet end of the island. Plenty of options for restaurants and all beaches are 5-10 mins away by scooter. The host made some great recommendations for beaches to prioritise and restaurants to try.

Naing the manager he is so nice and helpful. He is receptionist, manager and also porter… he looks after everything and everyone on the hotel. We couldn’t have better attention than the one that he provides to customers. Rooms super tidy and big. Swimming pool incredibly good. Will stay here again no doubts

We loved our stay at MAR24! It was well located (with lots of restaurants around) and was walking distance to great beaches, including Shark Bay and Freedom Beach. The staff were really friendly and helpful - we really appreciated the recommendations they gave at the start about places to eat and snorkelling spots! They also provided free transport to and from the pier and very well priced taxis.

Lovely stay for great price

Lovely welcome with welcome drink, super accommodating picking us up from our first hotel and picking my husband up separately as he went out diving for the day. Clean and very spacious room. Children loved the pool.

Best place we stayed

Best placed we stayed during our travels, staff are amazing and really made us feel comfortable being so far from home, location isn’t near popular areas be we enjoyed the walks and the hotel also provided us a taxi service when needed so didn’t cause any issues, beach is a short walk away, 7 eleven and many restaurants on the same road would definitely stay again 😊

Location was the only fault however was no issue for us and would 100% come back

Comfy rooms, helpful staff, great location & good value for money

Loved our stay here. We stayed for 5 nights and couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. It is a family run hotel, all the staff are so welcoming and helpful. They helped us organized bikes, boat trips, taxi to & from the port & our ferrys! Only a short journey into the town, nice and quiet at night, room serviced daily and great value for money. If your planning a trip to Ko Tao, definitely book here 😌

Family run and very happy to help with recommendations for food and activities. They knew the best spots to snorkel with baby sharks and turtles!

Only negative is that they outsourced laundry service who mixed up our clothes with someone else's.

Some people smoking around the pool area,smell came into building. Bit noisy at night with other guests, giving more hostel vibes. Water refill station is bit small and was empty a couple of times. Bed super hard.

Excellent stay in Koh Tao

The staff at this place are excellent, from the moment they greeted us we saw how nice and helpful they were at all times and they pay so much attention to every detail. There are some local restaurants walking distance, but you can also drive scooter 5 minutes to the main restaurant/bar area and some amazing beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back if I go back to Koh Tao.

We love Mar24! Perfect place to handle a family.

Kung, Naing, Oh and Thongchai made us feel like family by taking care of my mother, 2 kids and myself for a week. They helped us with secret snorkeling spots, reduced rate taxis, umbrellas when it was raining, restaurants that can handle picky kids, test drive scooters that we could not handle and checked the wave height at certain beaches to make sure the swimming would be safe for us. Our room was spotless every day, fresh water, a variety of snacks put in our room plus comfortable beds. With the AC and rotating ceiling fans we slept solid every night. Also we could walk to breakfast every morning and choose between different restaurants. At night I was able to telework using the free WiFi with a VPN with no issues including Teams meetings. We were sad when we left. Mar24 and it's staff is the best place we stayed during our 2 month holiday. Xoxoxo
