Renaissance living in modern times

Location could not be better, you can see the leaning tower over the buildings at the end of the road. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops in the street. Accommodation is really nice, quirky, clean and in a beautiful original building. A nice touch is the availability of tea and coffee for guests. I found the instructions to get in clear and easy to follow. The host was extremely helpful, checking on me, sorting out the WiFi and sending me a number for a local taxi.

Nothing that can be changed, it's pretty noisy as everything echoes, due to the high ceilings, tiled floors, the age of the buildings and people coming and going. The host has very thoughtfully left a bowl of ear plugs in the entrance hall, so it's clearly a problem that can't be fixed.

Spacious, comfortable, clean, easy access arrangements. In a great location, just a short walk to the Leaning Tower, along a pedestrianised street with loads of places to eat.

Spooky in a good way

Very good location, easy check in, clean. I liked the vintage decor, my room was very big with comfortable bed and nice furniture like a closet and dresser with a mirror. It was amazing to arrive and see some drinks like tea, coffee, water and juice for free. Fast response on the booking app when I had questions. Very good value for money.

The common room (entry) has no windows but has a very weird light (strong cold white outdoor lamp it seemed), so it was not cosy. There is nothing one can do about the lack of windows, but maybe some cosier and warmer lightning options would contribute to a better atmosphere.

One of the best places I’ve stayed in a while - no nonsense, and all the right things!

This is a stunning property with lots of character, and wonderful facilities. It was a very reasonable price, and I was able to store my bags after checking out, and work in the lobby area after checking out. There is also free coffee, tea, earplugs, a few other things that made me feel extremely well looked after, all while being able to check in without needing to contact anyone. I briefly met both the owner and one of the cleaners, who were both very friendly and pleasant. The cleaner even gave me some recommendations, which was incredibly kind of her. I highly recommend Time Out!

I enjoyed very much my stay at this property. I only had few days to find a place to stay and on such short notice everything was so expensive, but I found this place. At first I wasn’t sure about a room with a shared bathroom, but I thought it was only for one night, so shouldn’t be a big deal. Well, this place didn’t disappoint and if I have to come back to Pisa, I would come back to this property. The property has many bathrooms, there’s never a line to the bathroom, the bathroom next to my room was always free, felt like it was only for me☺️. But the most important thing is that it was very clean. You can say a lot about a hotel/ accommodation based on how clean the bathroom/kitchen and linen is. And this place has sparkling clean bathrooms and spotless and fresh white linen and bedding. The room was clean of course, and with some beautiful art on the walls, which made me feel like I was sleeping in a palazzo☺️ The staff lovely!!🥰 They let me check in much earlier as the room was vacant, so I got few hours of sleep after my night flight. The cleaning lady was very welcoming and nice, she was at the property when I arrived, let me in my room and showed me around. The property admin who I was taking to about my stay was very nice too, replied very promptly to all my questions and checked in with me to ask me how did I found the room and property. Overall, such a nice place. I have nothing bad to say about it, I loved it! Thank you lots to the staff! 🙏🏻

Good for short stays

Bed was comfy. Good sized room. Close to restaurants and the tower. Pretty straightforward instructions regarding entry. Shared toilet is clean. No personnel physically present, everything is digital. Works fine for me.

Absolute must if you are to visit the Tower of Pisa

At a 5 min walk from the Place of Miracles and the Tower of Pisa also surrounded by restaurants and mini markets. Rooms were clean and so were the separate bathrooms. There's a mini fridge (quite spacious) and a microwave [which isn't advertised].

The TV wasn't functional.

Very good value and clean.

Host was always in contact. Room was clean, nice and cool with its own AC unit. Location is great for the tower and plenty of restaurants around. All in all great value and would stay here again.

Shower was a nightmare to set to the right temperature but once mastered it was ok. Noise at night from the square but you are provided ear plugs 😁

Perfect location to visit Pisa

Liked · Apartment was in a great location, you can access Central station on foot, it’s like 5 minutes to Pisa tower, nearby lots of caffès, restaurants, shops. The room itself had it’s own charm, I felt like I’m staying at Italian nonna’s home 😀 my room was very big too. Separate bathroom it’s not the most convenient thing but it was clean, i had no issues with it.

Because of the location, it’s quite noisy area, so ear plugs are a must, but if you forgot they provide you with that.

Grand and bourgeois appartment in stunning central location, not to be missed!

Beautiful and tasteful genuine Italian apartment in a gorgeous location overlooking a square, 4 minutes walk from the Torre and cattedrale of Pisa, and 2 minutes walk to the beautiful botanical gardens. Antique furniture, high beamed ceilings, lovely paintings and great views onto the square gave this flat a bourgeois and grand feel. Spacious rooms, functioning bedside lamps and tables and air conditioning completed the great picture! Immediately opposite the front door is a wonderful cafe for breakfast with air conditioning.

They thoughtfully provided ear plugs, so we expected it to be noisy, but it wasn't at all and we had an excellent night's sleep.

Literally feels like back in time

The location couldn’t get any better than this. In the middle of the restaurant’s and shops and the Pisa tower is 350mts walking distance. The room was so spacious and clean and such a vintage vibe and aesthetic to the place.

Peaceful night in the heart of Pisa.

The rooms were roomy and furnished with antiques and interesting artworks. Guests were provided with earplugs (as it is in a lively location),.water,.juice and could help themselves to coffee. Shared bathroom was spotless. Beds were comfy.

Brilliant place to stay!

Such a brilliant location. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Lucca helped us with our bags and showed us to our room! Would recommend 100% and would definitely stay again. 2 minute walk to the Leaning Tower.

Great value and perfect location

The location is perfect - very close to main attractions in Pisa. The room was nice with a big painting across the wall and a nice view to a piazza. The shared bathroom/toilet was not a problem at all and it was clean. Free coffee and water were always available in the main area. The accommodation had a rustic and old-fashioned feel that was charming too. There was also had a free luggage storage area, which was very convenient for me as I was leaving Pisa in the evening. Overall, it's a great value for short and longer stays to explore Pisa.

There were some issues with the toilet flushing sometimes. The Wi-Fi wasn't working initially and the connection wasn't always stable.

Free teas and coffees with a biscuit - loved that! A bottle of water in my room. I know its not much in terms of cost, but it does count towards building a positive attitude. It almost feels like I was bribed, but... whatever.. it put a smile on my face. and that matters when you travel alone in a different country. Otherwise location is very central and convenient. It was quite in my room at night and a good quality sleep. Bed was large and comfy. Staff communicated over WhatsApp and I felt been looked after..

Good location. About 5 min walk to the tower. About 20 min walk to the central train station and 40 min walk to the airport. Very nice room with comfortable bed. Everything in the guesthouse with a historical touch. Coffee available all the time. Expect a lot of tourists nearby.

The accommodation was perfect, the room was large, comfortable beds, everything absolutely clean. The shared bathroom didn't matter at all, we had it right next to the room and it was always free when we needed it. There is a small kitchen in the hall, where you can make coffee, tea, heat food in the microwave. The location of the accommodation is absolutely great, close to everywhere, nearby shops, bars, restaurants. Communication very simple and clear. I recommend this accommodation to everyone! Thank you!

Superb authentic rooms in the center

- overall i have no complaints. Only to mention the noise level, it didn't brother me, but I can imagine it can be crazy on the street on a summer night. - and my room didn't have this cool painting which is in the photos

- perfect location, few mins walk from the Duomo. There are shops, cafés, restaurants nearby. - the hostel is in an old building which gives a good vibe. Very authentic interior design. - there is free coffee from a dolce gusto machine and tea - the room was spacious, with proper furniture, good bed and pillows, chairs and little sofa. View to the street and the piazza. - the shared bathroom was super clean and well-equiped with hairdryer. - easy chech-in process and as I saw they have a luggage storage area as well.

Stylish but cold 🥶

The building is very stylish, the same as the bedroom. Old furniture in Old style, very good. The bedroom was very spacious. you could make for yourself a cup of coffee or tea any time of the day or night in a special designated area.

The bedroom was definitely too cold. The heaters weren't on, and I couldn't see how possibly i could increase room temperature. Taking into account it was wintertime, I found that quite strange.

PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!

Location

Please stay away from this facility.The room was not clean and it smelled musty but that is not the problem. After my low point review the owner or manager sent me racist and abusive messages and than he canceled my booking (which is already completed and fully paid) and took the fee again. Now he is telling that their system has been hacked and someone else sent that messages. I have never experienced such a situation and i am going to complain and explain this situation to the authorities. I hope booking.com will not work with this facility anymore. PS: I attached the messages he sent to me.
