Gialel Pisa Guest House

We had a lovely welcome, with lots of top tips for all aspects of our trip . The location was fab , you come for the tower and it’s about 5 minute walk if that. The room and en suite were spotless and welcoming. We lots of space . We would stay here again if in Pisa .

Our triple room had a view of the leaning tower. Very conveniently located to Cathedral Square & the main attractions around there. Located about 1 mile away from Pisa Centrale station & easy enough to walk. It’s located on the 4th floor of the building which did have a lift but we always used the stairs. The room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had all the basics provided for our 2 night stay (towels, shower gel/shampoo, shower caps). We found the water system for the toilet took a long while to fill up so flushing was an issue in between uses with 2 friends travelling together. The water pressure and temperature was adequate but had been low and cold on first use so maybe the room had not been occupied for a while. A small under the desk fridge was provided and despite it being plugged in, it was not working. The room does not have good soundproofing so we were woken in the early morning when recycling was collected from the street bins and also noise of people out and about late. You could also hear noises and loud voices from other rooms. The older lady at check in was polite and we got by as she spoke in Italian and we were provided with a local map. Check in time of 2pm worked well for us. Filter Coffee Lab is located on the corner & convenient for grabbing coffee / cakes or breakfast. All in all, a conveniently located guest house in Pisa and suited our weekend stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights, room was clean. The guest house is about 5/10 minute walk away from the leaning tower. Have no bad points everything I needed 😊
