Location was amazing. Hired bikes and went to Murren and had an awesome day.

A fan in the room would have help the air circulate a little more as it was warmer than expected.

Absolutely fantastic! The accommodation has shared bathrooms and kitchens so you will be putting-up with other people and their mess. But this also makes for a lovely social experience. The rooms are basic but they have everything you need: a bed, towels, lights and space to hang your clothes. Everything was clean except for a bit of muck on the shower curtain. The accommodation sits above a wholesome cafe that sells food and alcohol and some cute souvenirs. The location is really good! The accommodation is based in the centre Lauterbrunnen. It's a short walk away from a train station, a pub, and plenty of shops. This is a great place to stay for anyone wanting to make day trips to nearby locations such as Murren, Gimmelwald and Grindelwald. I highly recommend this accommodation!

The shower curtains could do with a wash. It'd be nice if the rubbish bins were bigger. It'd also be nice if there were recycling bins. This isn't necessarily anything to do with the accommodation but be warned - There can be a lot of flies buzzing around town in the summer time. You might get a couple insect bites if you sleep with the windows open.

Room was nice, spacious and warm. Location was good and the views were decent. Kitchen facilities were good other than the oven which was a bit dirty/messy.

The shared bathroom wasn't the cleanest but it was still tolerable. However, when we wanted to shower at night, there was no hot water at all for all the nights. I contacted the host property about this issue but they didn't respond. There was hot water in the morning though. The wifi is quite slow and at one point it just stopped working for most of us.
