Super organized, peaceful, quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Everything. Quick response prior to arrival. The lady reception is very nice, jolly and kind. the room is huge. enough space for our bags, coats and jackets. the toilet and bath are clean and spacious. the kitchen and dining area are huge. kitchen feels like home. complete cutleries, stove, oven, kettle, almost everything you need. for free use. Perfect location.

Dreamy, cozy mountainous hostel.

Very cozy environment and “home” like feel.

That there was no oven in the kitchen, as I bought an item beforehand requiring an oven but realised there wasn’t one haha. Other than that it was all good.

Great comfort and value

The great location with parking, we can see the waterfalls from the room, that a few minutes walk to public transportation. The command kitchen is convenient that has everything that we need.

It's an amazing palce to stay for solo travelers in general!

The stay in this hostel was absolutely amazing! The place is very well organized and maintained. The kitchen was big and the bathroom was very clean. Staffs are helpful and the location is just 3 mins away from the supermarket and train station. The waterfall is also very close. The view from the room window worths extra credit! Will definitely come back again

The matress on the bed is not very comfy, especially for the people who have back pain problems.

Centrally located to walk to anywhere, free parking even for 9 seater van, clean, complete kitchen for food prep and dining, great staff, free towels.

Bathroom is downstairs with only 3 shower stalls and 4 toilet stalls for women restroom.

The hostel is located in a great area (close to train station and supermarket with a nice view) and it’s very clean. The staff were really nice and helpful.

The beds are a bit small if you’re tall! There was a noise sometime in our room, probably due to a pipe in the wall of the room.

Great place

Everything was wonderful. We stayed in a private room with a shared toilet and shower. There were only three rooms on the floor, one combined bathroom with a toilet, shower, and sink, one separate shower, and one toilet with a sink. The floor also had a spacious kitchen with everything needed for cooking. There were never any queues for the toilet or shower. The entire floor was very clean in all areas. Our room had a balcony with a stunning view of the mountains and the waterfall. The location is excellent — close to the train station and a bus stop.

The only thing is that there was just one towel per person — it would be nice to have at least one more.

Cute, clean, comfortable and friendly

The rooms are well thought out with hooks and boxes to store your things outside of your backpack. The kitchen facilities are excellent. The showers were the best I’ve experienced in months of travel. Always clean and tidy. The staff, particularly Michael, were extremely friendly and helpful. The other guests also friendly.

Cleaning the bathrooms during the morning rush was a bit weird, but otherwise can’t fault the hostel.

Wonderful hiking trip

Very clean, great location, we got a nice little balcony, overall very satisfied

We got a twin private room, which was very small, but it was ok since we were outside of the room most of the day. Also was a bit loud in the early mornings so we slept with ear plugs, but nothing that wasn’t manageable.

A comfortable stay in Lauterbrunen

It was very close to the railway station, supermarket and the lauterbrunen waterfall. The room was clean. The staff was friendly abd the shared kitchen and dining was well equipped and organized conveniently.

Very well organized hostel. Washrooms, showers, dining area were very clean. Very central area in Lauterbrunnen - very close to the train station, bus stop and the gondola to Murren. Storage facilities after check out was provided - which was a great help. View of the mountains and waterfall from the room.

Not a complaint: But just few information for reference: Washroom is outside/ Carrying big luggage on to the room if its not at ground floor/ Bedsheet and towels to be removed and put back at the reception. All these are already mentioned before booking so just an FYI info.

Great staff, rude owner

This was my second trip here and the receptionist was quite nice, friendly and helpful. The shared bathroom wasnt that convenient but okay since its a more budget friendly option. But during this trip, on one of the nights, an old man which i believe is the owner, suddenly cant over to the shared kitchen and barked at us for washing with the tap on. He asked if we know who is paying the bills and told us to use lesser water in a rude way. He also turned to my mom, who was washing the dishes with the tap on at a low volume, to switch it off. How do we then wash the shared dishes without the tap on? It is understandable that he might want to save water and money but he should have told us in a friendlier way, afterall we are paying guests. And maybe he could have advised us on how to wash dishes without water, since he asked us to turn off the taps when there is still soap on the dishes. Spoilt the overall experience and i wouldnt go back again, rather be staying at Interlaken or somewhere further.

Perfect location

The location is wonderful close to the train station . There is a nice outdoor seating area. The communal kitchen is large and well set up with individual spaces in the fridge and pantry. There is also the added bonus of a laundromat associated with this property.

I was disappointed with our room. We stayed three nights. It was probably the smallest room on the property . We had no balcony and we were under the eaves so half our room was comprised by a slanted roof. In the future I will ask a property specifically for a balcony.
