Awesome stay in nature's laps- its Swiss Alps!

Its cozy place surrounded with scenic views. Train station is just 5 mins walk. Food was awesome. Ease of check and check was surely there. Great places like Wengen and Murren are quite accessible. Recommended.

Common washroom.. but can't help the town is very small and one should respect and maintain beauty of the place by not constructing huge properties. It was known. However common washrooms were clean and toiletries were available

Location is good. Hotel is beautiful although room is very small.

Very hard to check in. 4pm only can. Cannot leave luggage at counter coz it is a bar. If you leave late the next day have to pay for one night. No lift! Have to use staircase which is hard. Bathroom is at another floor. Very cold to walk to washroom

Nice centrally located hotel

The place is central in Lauterbrunnen, good if you come by train from Interlaken. There are no room with toilet, just shower. Our room had a shower and it worked great, but since it is inside the bedroom, it can get very humid after a shower. The shared toilet was always cleaned, which was a nice surprise given the place was fully booked.

There aren’t any major complaints, if you want a nice, central and not so expensive place to stay in Lauterbrunnen, you found it. The inly downside is the lack of elevators, which can be a problem for some

A good stay at a place that is more a pub with several floors of small but comfortable rooms above.

More of a pub with rooms above the main floor. The pub is nice with by far the most affordable hot meals in town. The waiters in the pub double as the hotel clerks. It was affordable and easy to stay there for seeing the mountains.

A dream honeymoon stay in Lauterbrunnen — absolutely unforgettable!

Everything was amazing! The room had incredible views of the mountains and waterfalls — totally worth the price. The facilities were beautiful and super cozy, the beds very comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. The food at their restaurant was delicious. Honestly, everything felt like a dream. Absolutely stunning!

Nothing really! Maybe just the stairs going up since we had three heavy pieces of luggage, but there were people offering help, so it was totally manageable. Honestly, everyone there was so kind, so there really wasn’t anything to dislike.

The location was amazing. The views are incredible. Perfect little town to stay. The bar/restaurant downstairs has a great atmosphere, delicious drink, and good food.

Shared bathrooms. Rooms were fine for me and my son because we only had backpacks and carry ons, but for others with luggage it's a tight fit.

Great place to rest, drink and eat before exploring more.

The people running the bar were super nice, welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The pub was cozy, beer tasty, and the food was great. Enjoyed my quiet and comfy room. Great place to eat, sleep, wake up and go. Enjoyed the experience.

Recommended stay.

Great location, shared bathroom was clean and kept clean throughout the stay. The views from the twin room were great and we both really enjoyed our stay. Short walk from the train station, so it was very easy to get to other places to explore. Coop was close by too which is good for essentials. Great value stay in an amazing area.

It was just as advertised and better than we expected. With a bar downstairs (which they explained in the listing), we were a little worried about noise, but it was a quiet night. Comfortable beds, good prices in the dining room.

Best location, got the room with Staubbach fall view - the main reason I came there. It was a dream to wake up right to this fab view! Close to cafes/shops, approx. 10 min to the station

Bathroom with shower was on another fl, it’s ok to have it outside your room when you book the one with no bathroom, but another fl is a bit too far :) The room where you can leave luggage after check in didn’t have any lock so anyone could come and take it

The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby attractions, and the facilities were great! Everything was tidy and clean throughout the property. My room offered a stunning view of the waterfalls. I also appreciated how informative the hotel was. They provided plenty of useful details in advance, so I felt well-prepared and welcomed upon arrival.

Good hotel in the heart of Lauterbrunnen

Mile (staff) is fantastic! The room has its own sink and faucet - very helpful. Their laundry services is a big one - they wash and dry for you. Supposedly, the clothes are folded too but ours was given not folded. The location is just steps away to Staubbach Fall and church, and bus to Stechelberg. It is about 10-min walk only to Lauterbrunnen train. Check-in until 12:30 am is relieving as we arrived past 10pm. They also have kettle, hanger, adapters and cups.

Noise of customers from the bar in the ground floor. But to point, it is tolerable. Hope there is electric fan because June is hot season already and there is no ac. Majority of Switzerland hotels have no ac but some offers fan.

A clean hotel over a pub in the most beautiful place on earth!

This was the best price point we could find. We loved having two rooms as a family and the shared bathroom for the floor was kept super clean. It is a pub downstairs so there is noise but the views out the window and the comfortable beds are perfect for hikers and walkers and all who want to explore the area! It is clean and priced perfectly! none of us wanted to leave! We are so thankful for our stay at this little bit of heaven!

Amazing place to stay with a good price!!

It was a great location and we did hear any noise! It was honestly quiet and peaceful. We wished we stayed longer than one night! We slept amazing because the pillows were perfect. And even tho you share a toilet that was never a problem especially since your shower and sink are in your room. Honestly we loved it! We would come back again!!!

The room was wide and had a great view of the mountains.

The shower room had no light, which is bizarre. It was very uncomfortable not seeing whether it is clean or not. Also the ceiling and walls are paper thin, you can hear everything from other rooms. Especially the ceiling, the steps of the guests on upper floor was very noisy.

Nice place to spend a night or two, worst place to eat.

The location is great and most of the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and had a great view. We were able to leave our luggage to go for a walk while we waited for the check in and after the check out.

The food is cheap, dull, poorly prepared and insipid. The worst food I’ve had in years and both, the presentation and the taste are completely disappointing. They put zero effort into preparing the food. DO NOT EAT HERE. It’s a waste of your money. Literally any sandwich from a supermarket is better than their food.
