Location and view were amazing. Loved the multiple beds for families. And the breakfast was wonderful! We ended up being there "in between seasons" so it was nice to not have to worry about finding breakfast.

We arrived on the funicular which is quite far from this location. If you're coming from the train, it's right there, but if you come up on the gondola, expect a 15 minute walk with your luggage. It was only an issue for us because it had snowed a lot so we had to trudge through the snow, hah!

The rooms are wonderful and the staff are the best.

The views are amazing. Room was comfortable and roomy. Enjoyed having seating area in the room. There was plenty of storage as well. We enjoyed the restaurant. This was our 3rd stay here, and we really love the rooms. The best part is the service- all staff are so welcoming and accommodating.

The breakfast set up is a bit cramped.

Excellent value for money with a great chef in the kitchen

Beds were great, balcony and view, too. The food in the restaurant was a big positive surprise; the risotto was excellent.

There are 2 things I was missing: - I think the room misses a kettle or if not - the breakfast room should have coffee / tea available 24/7. I got up at 4am and went down working, hoping to get a hot cup of coffee, but unfortunately, I was not lucky.

Magical stay with stunning views!

Perfect location next to the BLM train station which isn’t noisy at all. Great food at the restaurant at a very reasonable price (considering it is Switzerland) and the staff shows such warmth and hospitality that it makes it a great stay. The wonderful view of Eiger and Monch from the balcony. Lift for those with suitcases and accessibility in general. Lovely clean room and bathroom with a bathtub :)

Nothing really. Maybe the pillows are a little soft but it’s not a problem if you use two. Would be even better if there is a kettle to make hot water in the room.

Up close Alps view!

Great Mountain views from our room, delicious breakfast, and good pub. Our spacious room was modern, clean and had good light. Plenty of windows for fresh air.

One morning, the breakfast buffet was pretty bare for a long while before they refreshed it. On a picky note, the room has one smallish bathroom mirror. It would be so easy to put one outside of the bathroom (even on the back of a door) to make getting ready for the day less competitive!

Our room was very small. The staff would go smoke right outside our window. There wasn't any air conditioning, so we wanted our windows open, but were unable to keep them open because the smoke would come in and stink us out.

Terrific choice in Mürren, Switzerland!!

We liked everything here! Our room had a balcony looking directly at the 3 peaks- the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The restaurant was cozy, busy, and delicious! Had one lunch and three dinners here in four nights. And it is 25 meters from the train station!!

Comfortable stay

The room is modern and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and the staff is very friendly. The staff is very friendly, and the price is reasonable for the location. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh bread, pastries, fruit and great coffee including freshly made decaf options. Bonus: the water in the bathroom comes straight from the mountains and is drinkable (and freezing cold - ideal for cold shower :D)!

Curtains are not blackout, and there was some noise from outside. The room isn’t exactly Swiss-style (I think), but it’s still a cozy, modern space. The location is right across from the train station, but it still quiet in the evening, scenic and with fantastic views. Dinner (pizza, pasta) at the restaurant was decent, though it could have been better.

Pleasant stay in Murren

We always love to stay at the Eiger Guesthouse. It's an easy walk from the train with a fast checkin process. Rooms are always clean and wifi is excellent.

Our room was extremely clean and well kept in all areas. The balcony was large with a table and chairs. The mountain views were unbelievable. Breakfast was minimal. The location was perfect, steps from the train station, quiet and car free.

Would have liked air conditioning, a refrigerator and a self service laundry.

Cool location, staff, pub and restaurant but disappointing breakfast setup drag the overall value.

Rooms and main entrance are small, but the vibe is cosy and relaxed. The bar doubles as reception and restaurant, with friendly and professional young staff. Table reservation for guests was easy. Rooms are a bit tight for 4 people, but the wooden double-decker bed is nicely done, though lacking proper safety rails, the 1 cm edge is not enough. Design is cosy with wooden furniture and a fun blackboard wall. Balcony adds value, with a stunning view on the Eiger and Mönch, even the Jungfrau. Location is ideal, right by the station after the gondola and train ride. Restaurant serves high quality food, fondue was excellent.

Breakfast setup is too small, staff struggled to refill the buffet. Coffee machine setup in the little corner is frustrating when several people queue. While breakfast has everything needed, quality of products felt slightly on the cheap side, juice was poured at the buffet from a tetrapack into glass bottles. Big contrast with the much better food served in the evening.

Convenient and comfortable!

The Eiger Guesthouse gives plenty of reasons to always come back. Very friendly and accommodating staff, cute and comfortable rooms, private balconies and great views. It’s directly across from the train station so you don’t have to walk far with your luggage, the food was delicious too!

Hotel is very conveniently located front desk. Staff were very good when we arrived.

The quality of the food was fair, but not outstanding, and the waiter was not as attentive as I would’ve liked. You also was not able to explain the menu and the dishes well to us in English.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The location perfect, handy to the tiny train station. Mürren is absolutely the best place to stay in the Lauterbrunnen area.

Incredibly beautiful location and everything you need at your fingertips.

The hotel has arguably the best view in the Alps. The staff were lovely and the food excellent. Traditional chalet feel about it. Bedrooms were very nice and the shower excellent. Sitting on the balcony was magical.

Does not get better than this

Everything was superb. Location, cleanliness, bed comfort, room size, breakfast, staff super friendly, and extremelly good prices for a country like Switzerland. This is the best bang for your buck by far. The restaurant is also great, we had dinner and everything was delicious.
