Sonnenhof - Wengens Original Kurhaus

We loved everything about Sonnenhof, felt like home. The owners were great and so helpful for telling us where to go in the area. This place was perfect, so charming and the views from our windows were spectacular. Bought groceries and put them on our designated shelf in the frig and shelf area, great concept for that amazing kitchen. We loved the 15 minute walk into Wengen and back, amazing views of Lauterbrunnen Valley the whole way. Just a great place, we would definitely stay again.

Es un sitio estupendo! Todo está perfectamente pensado, la cocina está muy bien equipada, la limpieza es excelente, te hacen sentir como en casa. Las reglas de la casa son muy claras y es muy fácil seguirlas

Está un poco lejos del centro pero nada grave, además que está muy cerca de un mirador increíble

There is shared kitchen with all necesasay pots, pans and cups to prepare meals. There is waterfall and stream near the place. Check in and check out was easy.

The place is old, 15 minute walk uphill from the station. The room was very small, had a double bed, and a small table maybe 90 sqft. had 2 windows not much to see, trees were covering any possible view. It was hot, we opened the window flies and butterflies would get in. no air conditioning. we were there 2 nights. One shared bathroom, we didn't feel comfortable using it to shower. we took a taxi to and from the train station for 20 chf each way. It was not worth the money for the stay.
