Sonnenhof - Wengens Original Kurhaus

The property is charming and very quiet. Clean does not even begin to describe the facility. The shared kitchen had everything you could want, and it was easy to strike up a conversation with other guests. Two couples were easily making food at the same time without issue. The rooms are charming and the walk from the town is peaceful.

I honestly got exactly what I thought I was getting. It’s a clean, welcoming place without a lot of frills, but it’s clean and quiet.

The most beautiful and well maintained place. The owners thought of everything and were very accommodating.

There is shared kitchen with all necesasay pots, pans and cups to prepare meals. There is waterfall and stream near the place. Check in and check out was easy.

The place is old, 15 minute walk uphill from the station. The room was very small, had a double bed, and a small table maybe 90 sqft. had 2 windows not much to see, trees were covering any possible view. It was hot, we opened the window flies and butterflies would get in. no air conditioning. we were there 2 nights. One shared bathroom, we didn't feel comfortable using it to shower. we took a taxi to and from the train station for 20 chf each way. It was not worth the money for the stay.
