Beautiful Alpine hotel with gorgeous views and spa facilities to ease the soul.

This amazing Alpine hotel has outstanding views from the room with a beautiful spa and heated indoor pool with these great views as well. Half board dining is highly recommended with wonderful food. The bar was cozy and well equipped. I would highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

Beds are low to the ground and can be difficult to get in and out of.

Lovely and relaxed!

Breakfast and dinner (halfboard) was excellent which I recommend. Hochgurgl doesn't really have much restaurants available apart from the hotels so getting this in the hotel would make most sense. Natalia was an excellent waitress and helped make sure that kitchen/cook took into consideration her food allergie.

The only thing I can think of, is that it would be nice if the sauna/sports area would be open in the evening later (during our stay it closed at 7PM). Other than that everything was excellent.

Excellent hotel for skiing in Hochgurgl

Very good food, nice ambiance, very nice decor in hotel common areas, great location, enough parking, convenient ski room, very nice spa

One of the beds was a bit soft but that's a question of taste. Slept quite well!

Let down by staff

Hotel is lovely, location is perfect but some staff members and petty rules let it down, will definitely come back if there's a change of ownership. Food is quite good The decor is nice, especially the fireplace and bar area, good spa with plenty of beds and facilities The views are incredible, the location is amazing for skiing

Waiter behind the bar and the lady serving us at breakfast and dinner were lovely, the other staff were rude and miserable. Water is charged at €3.50 for TAP water, apart from at breakfast when it's free, but you have to guess/wait to be told off before you know this You're not allowed to sit at the hotel owner's table at the bar, but it's not reserved and there is no sign, so you have to wait to be told off You aren't allowed to bring ANY skiwear through reception or near the dining room, but the door to the ski room is jammed and stiff There are no slippers or dressing gowns so remember your flip flops or you'll be going down to the spa barefoot The wine list is all in German, in fact everything is in German so you'll be ordering blind No water glasses or bottles in the room, threatening notice in room to stop you bringing your own snacks home The salad bar is very very limited

Highly recommended, going to visit this place again.

Take a double room with a mountain view. It cost little more but you will have spectacular view and bathtub. We spent 1 hour doing selfies on balcony. Dinner is great enough to stay in the hotel without needs to travel for the food. I don't remember what was for breakfast, but dinner was kind cool. Breakfast was just fine. It was a late summer, but heating in rooms were working and it was comfortable.

Single rooms have no spectacular view, but the are great for teenagers. We were asked to pay for coffee with milk during breakfast. Coffee was free, but milk seems cost money. Anyway it was only 2 or 3 eur.

Exceptional

Super friendly staff. I felt very welcome. It is a very cosy place. I came for a bike race that started very early and finished late. Hotel prepared 4.45am breakfast and late diner. I could not be happy more with their customer first attitude in altitude 🙂 (hotel is based over 2000m above see level). Fully recommend.

Hotel have beautiful view on the top of the mountain.Good scenery and silence.They also have Sauna but close too early we didn’t use it. We have half board meal there the food was good.

Exceptional service, delicious dinners, great place to which we plan to start returning!

We had really amazing experience due to excellent staff service and delicious food. We enjoyed the food choice and quality. The hotel restaurant has excellent cook. The whole team on the floor works in full professionalism and lets you feel the true friendly atmosphere. From the very beginning of our booking the hotel staff communicated with us about our special request to our full convenience.

Honestly, we did not have anything to dislike. We were truly satisfied.

Great stay

Location is great, a short walk from the slopes and the ski lift. Our room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Staff were without exception polite and helpful. The food was to a good standard, as was the bar and restaurant service. The views from the hotel are beautiful and the hotel is designed to show these off.

Very little! A small fridge in the room would have been nice to keep some cold water in! This is really a small comment, we will be booking again next year!

Die Lage des Hotels ist einmalig mit Skilift vor dem Hotel und einem vorzüglichen 4 Gang Abendmenü.

Unser Zimmer in der 4. Etage war neuwertig ausgestattet und die Wohnqualität war sehr gut gepaart mit einer göttlichen Schlafruhe. Der Zimmerservice hat begeistert und die Zimmer waren jeden Tag wie aus dem Ei gepellt. Wir haben die eine Woche ein sehr freundliches Personal um uns herum gehabt und uns wohl gefühlt. Als Bonus verfügt das Hotel noch über einen ansprechenden Wellness Bereich mit einer finnischen Sauna und Infrarot Bereich, sowie einem großzügigem Liegebereich.

Das Frühstück mit frischem Brot und schmackhaftem Käse und Aufschnitt war gut. Teils waren einige Zutaten recht früh vergriffen.

Wie immer ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt im Laurin

Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren ins Laurin und fühlen uns rund um wohl. Es gibt einen schönen Wellnessbreich mit Sauna und Schwimmbad. Auch das kleine Fitnessstudio nutzen wir bei schlechtem Wetter. Das fantastische Abendmenü ist immer unser Highlight nach einem schönen Skitag .

Das Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher gestaltet werden.

Tolle Lage, mehr auch nicht

Lage ist toll. Das Hotel liegt auf 2150m über dem Meer.

Leider ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen. Ausstattung ist von Ende der 90er. Im Bad gehen 3 von 5 Spots. Wartungsfugen sind erneuert. Dafür schimmeln die Fliesenfugen. Personal hat keine Gastgebermentalität. Habe den Chef 2 mal getroffen und ich habe ihn 2 mal gegrüßt. Gab beide Male keine Antwort. Frühstück ist speziell. Kaffee im Silberkännchen aber es ist nicht möglich einen Cappuccino zu bekommen. Schalen und Teller sind ein Sammelsurium. Dieser Getränke Saftautomat ist unpassend. Schöne Karaffe reicht. Alles eher lieblos angerichtet. Auch die Auswahl ist nicht gut. Sachen werden auf dem Wagen reingefahren und bleiben darauf. Service Personal ist sehr freundlich. Abendessen ist eher schlecht. Salatbuffet ist eine Sammlung an Resten. Wurst Käse Salat vom Frühstück. Thunfisch aus der Dose usw usw. Die Suppen waren alle Tage eine Katastrophe. Sahne mit wenig Geschmack in heiss. Hauptgänge naja. Langweilig und handwerklich nicht gut. Die soße zum Gemüsereiß war eine Mehl Sahne Pampe. Dessert leider auch total einfallslos. Es kam mir so vor, als wenn auch dort alles old school 90er ist. Da war nichtso ansprechendes oder interessantes. Essen von 18.45 bis 20.30 ist auch speziell. Alles in allem würde ich sagen, es fehlt an Führung und Spirit.

Das Zimmer und die Ausstattung, sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen, das Essen war gut, das Frühstück war ausreichend, nur das man den Cappuccino extra bezahlen musste, war doch sehr ungewöhnlich. Personal war sehr nett

Einfach nur SUPER, Angefangen beim Personal an der Rezeption bis zur Bedienung im Restaurant 👍 Kurz zusammengefasst ist hier schwierig, da alles super und sensationell war. Von der Unterkunft, Lage, dem wirklich supernetten Personal dem megaleckerem Essen, dem tollen Wellnessbereich, der Fitnessbereich, der Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit.Macht weiter so wir sehen uns wieder 🥳

Zimmer neu, stilvoll, der gesamte Hotelbereich ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet. Die Aussicht aus dem SPA und Speisebereich ist eine Augenweide...und die gebuchte Halbpension ist ein "musthave"
