It was comfortable, a decent price, a good location for visiting family, and has an excellent breakfast.

The air con didn't cool the room so we had to have the window open, but with a young child we could only leave it open for a short while so it was a bit warm at times.

The room was very nice BUT we were there when we had 34 degrees for the first three days and……sorry….the air conditioning is not working, we were told!! I checked the next day and was told that the a/c cannot be fixed! We tried to leave the windows open during the night but it was either too warm or too noisy (football PSG winning! - not the hotel’s fault!). Leaving the windows closed, the room became very, very stuffy.

On day one we went downstairs to have coffee. We hadn’t booked breakfast as we just like coffee in the morning. We told the staff and they said: no problem, help yourself. The staff during the first three days were fantastic and extremely polite and helpful. We had lunch there with wine. We had drinks there in the evening. They couldn’t have been nicer! On the fourth day, after the weekend, new staff was there. We went downstairs for coffee and were duly presented with a bill and had been given chapter and verse why we had to pay for a coffee. I don’t mind paying for it but we left a lot of money there during the day and the evenings. The previous crew were so nice about it that it shocked us a bit how we were approached. As I said, I have no problem paying €8 for coffee but I could have equally gone to reception and asked for some money back as we had no A/C AT ALL during our stay. The location of the hotel was excellent. The reception staff was very helpful ordering taxis as my husband can’t walk very far. The size of the room was very good. It was cleaned every day perfectly. We couldn’t complain about that part. We were just very disappointed with the staff’s attitude on the last day.
