Pleasant and welcoming house on the farm

The house is on the farm, so you can see the sheep through the window walking right in a few meters from the house. It is very peaceful and cozy with two fireplaces. The host leave some wood for the start but we bought more to enjoy the fire and warm up the house every day of our stay. There are also the heating system too. So, overall it was fine and warm. Just the bathroom felt a bit cold, because it's big and I guess couldn't warm up enough between the heating system working hours. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The bed was comfortable. The host are very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. They met us and showed around the house, they also started both of the fireplaces for us and left us some snack, which was very kind of them. Plenty of parking space next to the house, scenic road to the nearby towns and Belfast. Belfast is around 30-40 min drive away.

Very peaceful location and good for visiting Belfast and the north coast. Lovely cottage, warm and homely.

The instructions from Belfast could include the final sentence from the Larne instructions with regard to going up the concrete road at the junction, I hadn't noted that down and we were a bit confused about where to go.

A spacious, clean farmhouse up a long lane with animals on every side and a cracking sunset. We loved our stay here. Edith and James were wonderful and left some freshly laid eggs, milk, cheese and some treats for us on arrival. The house was clean and had everything in the kitchen you would need and more to cook a meal. The beds were comfy. They left wood for the fire etc. It was just amazing. Couldn't fault it.

The warm welcome both by the owners and the log fire. Plenty of space and lovely and quiet. Bed very comfortable.

Had to be very careful when showering over bath, slippery and no grab handles.
