Guest House Rrashkadoli

I loved this place, my favorite in Albania. The property is beautiful. The welcome was great - a glass a raki, I felt like a true guest. Excellent food - salad and sausages were great. The bed was very comfortable. And the cutest little dog ever.

That it was full so I could not stay a second night!

Of all the places we stayed on our trip to the Balkins, this one may have been my favorite. I would design another trip to the mountains specifically around this guest house’s available dates, and stay a few nights if i could! The food here was the best we had the whole trip.. and we had some pretty great food. It was all homemade and completely delicious. The beds were comfortable, it was quiet, and I felt perfectly at home. The owners treat you like you are their children. It was the most amazing experience.

Beautiful location with views of the surrounding mountains. Very friendly, accommodating hosts. Clean and comfortable rooms. Close to the Theth-Valbona trailhead. Quick and easy check in.

Not a huge problem, but it's a 25 minute walk into the centre of Theth, but you can get a taxi if needed.

The view is absolutely insane!!! But that would be it.

I’m sad to say it was the worst accommodation I’ve ever been to. Owners don’t speak English or very very little. You can only pay cash there for your stay which I found it very inconvenient because there was no information on booking.com while booking and also the price I paid at the place turned out to be much more expensive than what booking.com shows, because on top of that they only accepted Albanian currency and the conversion was inconvenient for me. There is no aircon, the lady provided only the small electric heater that didn’t do any job- to be honest hairdryer was doing it better. So for two nights I was freezing, had to sleep in sweaters and extra pants. Breakfast also very simple, one boiled egg and slice of cheese (amazing jam though) and two different kinds of pancakes- I don’t know if that’s normal in Albania but it looks like they looove sweet breakfasts. And again like I said the communication was very poor.
