Magic Space Petros Skafias

I absolutely loved my stay at Magic Space. The second I entered, there was a good vibe. The lady that runs the place is Silvia who warmly welcomes you, she has the biggest heart, so kind. My room was spacious, very comfortable and sparkling clean. (In a previous review, someone complained that there was no curtain around the shower therefore water got on the bathroom floor - please note this is a common bathroom format in Albania and was the same in every guesthouse I stayed - at this guesthouse there is a special squeegee mop to clear up the excess water so there is no problem). Outside there is a garden with sun loungers, umbrellas, table chairs where you can relax at the end of your day, you will also hear the river running near by. The breakfast was fantastic. There is also the option to have dinner there which I can confirm was very tasty and reasonably priced. The location is approx 15 or 20 mins walk into the village centre (depending which route you take), the benefit of this is that it is on the trail of the big hike, so if you are arriving to Theth after the hike, you will be delighted to see this accommodation towards the end… you will be so tired and will be glad to not have to hike the last 20 minutes. Likewise, you will save 20 mins in the morning starting the hike. I highly recommend this guesthouse, so peaceful and full of warm hospitality.

Absolutely amazing! The staff were super sweet and so helpful. Gave us tips of what to do around the area. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend eating there. Make sure to bring cash for dinner and paying for the accommodation. They accept euro. We parked at the free parking and walked up, about a 20 minute walk. This is away from the tourist hotels so it's quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect

Magic Space is In a good location if you are doing the walk over the pass making it shorter if you come from Valbone and saving a steep walk if heading out of Theth. Staff was very friendly and hospitable and food was good and generous but quite limited choice which may be an issue if you don’t feel like the steep walk down to the centre. Bedding etc were new. Nice area to sit outside gazing at the mountains.

There was only a handheld shower and the whole bathroom floor gets wet. There is no kitchen utensils etc and the tap over the kitchenette sink didn’t work. A kettle with teabags in the room would have been nice.

The views are priceless. They prepare big delicious breakfast. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean, smelled good.

It’s just a tiny thing but the bathroom door made an annoying noise while opening and closing. It was a bit hard to find the property at night, but the host helped us with it tremendously. The way there is extremely rocky, it’s literally a hike to get there on foot, but that’s part of the magic.
