Kulla Pracja Theth

I picked this property after reading another review. It’s set in a collection of private chalets and is surrounded by stunning alpine views high up in the valley. The grounds have cows and horses and four very friendly cats who love attention and will walk through the restaurant but won’t bother you. I thought the property was far from the town but it’s actually only a ten minute walk to the town but I spent most of my downtime here. Breakfast is included and ample all freshly produced in the kitchen. The staff are professional and friendly and welcomed me when I arrived. Dinner is extra but very large and excellent value. I stayed in the tower in a cosy room with a huge bed which was very rustic. In all I absolutely loved this place.

Nothing. It was one of the best stays I’ve ever had.

It was for a decent price and the house was in a good location, only a 5-10 minute walk from the Theth center with a shortcut bridge over the river behind the house. Since I had a top-floor room, the view was good. The bed blanket was comfortable. The morning breakfast was absolutely amazing.

The room had only the bed and a chair that was occupied by a portable heater with the cord being too short to reach the floor. The only power socket was also occupied by the heater. The room was very cold when we arrived, but the heater working on full blast kept the room at a comfortable temperature after a few hours. The shared bathroom had shower and toilet in the same location and its floor was uncomfortably cold.

The whole stay was fantastic. The food was amazing with stunning views

Nothing

The grounds of the full property are spectacular and gorgeous. The staff (especially Aleks) are fantastic and helpful, and the location is super serene.

The stone guesthouse itself is very old, the walls are paper thin (and our neighbor had a horrible cough we heard all night), the shower doesn’t ever get hot, qnd you’re showering next to your toilet (basically on it). The floor is also not level, so everything kept rolling to the other side. The big bed in our room was super hard and uncomfortable, and I ended up rolled on the other side and nearly falling off because of the slant 😂. The small bed was good though.
