Had the best birthday weekend! Everything was excellent. The food was amazing: fresh, organic, and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and even offered complimentary transportation from the city center, which was a lovely touch. The hotel has plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. A wonderful experience overall, and I will definitely be back!

The only minor downside was that the hotel is a bit challenging to reach from the city center. However, the staff kindly offered complimentary transportation, which made the experience smooth and stress-free.

This place is a true hidden gem. It’s incredibly affordable and in such a perfect location for the Valbona hike, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The views are absolutely incredible and made our stay even more special. What really sets this place apart, though, is the family who runs it. They are genuinely some of the warmest and most hospitable people we met during our trip. They made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. The food was also outstanding, the breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes, and the dinner was honestly the best meal we had in all of Albania. If you’re not looking for anything overly fancy but want an authentic, comfortable, and welcoming stay with amazing hospitality, beautiful views, and fantastic food, this place is perfect. We would absolutely stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The host, Andrea, and her lovely family made our entire experience so memorable. This property is a farm stay with sheep, lambs, chickens, piglets, ducks and cows. Most of the food on their menu is made in-house. The views are absolutely spectacular and worth the treacherous journey in by car without a doubt. We arrived by hire car in a sedan and while the road was gravel and we had to drive very slowly, it was doable if you’re an experienced and careful driver. Andrea’s service was amazing. She provided lots of useful recommendations and even packed us some fresh fruit and the delicious fig jam we had at breakfast for our departure journey! Thank you to Andrea and her family for the most wonderful stay! We couldn’t recommend this gorgeous guesthouse any more.

Expect friendly, homely service at this guesthouse, not luxury. The wooden cabins are small and the bathrooms need love, but what the accommodation itself lacks is made up for in the beautiful, friendly nature of the family who runs the guesthouse.

I liked the attention of the people who manage the accommodation. Also, the village is so charming and nice (you can have Stendhal syndrome). The breakfast is very tasty :)

I didn't like that the walk between the center and the accomodation but because we went with backpacks and the road is a little uphill, 30 minutes walking. Also, I found the cabin where we stayed a little small for the price paid. Also the bathroom is very small. While you shower the toilet and the toilet paper get wet.
