Perfect stay to see Shala river. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Owner organised trip to shala river.

Great spot right at the lake. Host was very helpful when we almost ran out of petrol on arrival and ordered some in for us, which seems to be the way to go in that area anyway. Comfortable rooms, nice dinner and breakfast.

The property is in a beautiful, peaceful setting with an amazing view. We especially loved sitting and eating outside while enjoying the scenery. You can swim in the lake, and we really enjoyed the kayaks available at the property. The host was very kind, friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the organized trip to Lake Shala that he arranged for us. Having a washing machine was very useful, especially during a longer trip. There is also an option to have dinner at the property for €15 per person.

The property is very dark overall, and the lighting is not strong enough. Adding more and brighter lighting would make a big difference. The air conditioning upstairs was quite weak for such a large space. Opening the windows helped, although we were a little concerned about mosquitoes. The bathroom is missing some practical details, such as towel hooks and a toilet paper holder. The kitchen could be better equipped. We were missing some basic items such as a bottle opener, wine glasses and a spatula. I’m sure the host would have provided them if we had asked, but it is more convenient to have the basic equipment available without having to ask for each item. Although having a washing machine was great, there was not really enough space or a proper drying rack for hanging the laundry. There are several apartments within the same property, and the sound insulation is not very good. We stayed upstairs, so it bothered us less, but the guests below us could clearly hear our footsteps. Breakfast was quite basic. We received one egg per person, and I would have appreciated more eggs and a larger amount of fresh vegetables.

The location at the lakeside is stunning. You need the car to get there, but after we came we walked to the village to eat the best fish in my life. Kids were swimming in the cold water, jumping from the blocks. I was drinking coffee that time. Good breakfast with lokal cheese and jam.
