The check in process was quick and easy. With a brief chat with the host. The room was a very good size with own bathroom. Lovely comfy bed. The room was refreshed each day with drink top ups and bed remade. Stunning view out across the water. Ideally situated close to the town and other facilities. Overall very happy.

Amazing place definitely will be returning

Bed was so comfortable. Show was amazing with plenty of hot water. Sea view which was lovely waking up to every morning.

Breakfast was not provided, but for me that's no problem. The owner called just once during the week to offer room service; that too suited me OK, as I liked to be left undisturbed to work in the mornings in my room. The location was conveniently near to some shops, and within walking distance of the Riviera Centre -- where I competed in the English Chess Federation congress in the afternoons.

it was dirty never seen so many cobwebs dirty net curtains. the shower leaked all over floor. electric appliances had been tested for a few years. needs updating

Even though clean and comfortable could do with a bit of tlc as wallpaper coming off in places ,and just as well we had lost weight or would never of fit through the shower door,only see the owners son when we turnt up didn't see another sole while we was there, not even the owners and it was leave key on side on way out

Location of the hotel was good, and the owner was a lovely lady.

The bathroom was the main problem, in the 2 nights that we stayed we couldn't use the shower, as it was squirting out in all directions and leaking. and the toilet wouldn't flush very well, we would have to take the lid off to get to the cistern, to push it down for it to refill to flush it again. The toilet seat was cracked and taped together with black tape. The whole curtain rail in the befroom fell off when we closed them, there was cobwebs on the ceiling and all the lamp shades. And the alarm kept going off every time someone had a shower. We waited outside for a long while when we arrived as apparently the door bell wasn't working inside but was hearing it ring from the outside where we were, so had to end up phoning to get let in.

More of a guest house

Apparently we got the nicest room in there and honestly it felt very comfy and pretty. Definitely not a luxurious experience but nice for a little getaway. Very close to town centre also and lots to see around.

Good location, car parking, very pleasant owner. Room was clean and tidy, good shower in bathroom. We had a quiet and comfortable stay.

TV sound not very good, often went distorted, drawers and wardrobe had seen better days. A fridge would be a nice addition to the rooms.

Convenient location about 15 min walk to the harbour

Bed was uncomfortable springs had gone. Room was functional. We stayed for 7 days so there was insufficient storage and hanging space. Used our car to store clothing & foitwear
