Tastefully decorated, friendly atmosphere

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel for my birthday at the beginning of July. The hotel is ideally located, in the center of the island's capital, yet close to the beach and not in the hectic. It is perfect if you want to be close to the restaurants and shops, yet also have the beach nearby for early morning or evening strolls. The other villages and points of interest can be easily reached by bicycle or by car because Westerland is in the center of the island. Both the studio and suite we had booked were well appointed and very cosy, decorated with beautiful Riviera Maison furniture (not the typical hotel decoration). The beds were really very comfortable (and I'm very picky for the beds). The small kitchinette is very well designed and integrated into the decor of the room. The coffee (nespresso) and toiletries are replenished every day. The staff is extremely friendly. A special mention for Sven who gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants, and the cleaning staff who were always very helpful and always very friendly, and the dark-haired lady (sorry I don't remember her name) who welcomed us so kindly on our first evening on Sylt (June 29th). The hotel had also organized the renting of three bycicles for us, which is a highly appreciated service so we didn't have to spend a morning doing that ourselves. On demand there is a parking spot for your car as well. The breakfast is excellent, with an incredible choice of jams and salty options (cheese, delicious verrines and cold cuts). The choice of verrines is really something unique! Another quite unique thing is that the staff remembered my birthday and had organized a small birthday cake and a glass of champagne as we arrived for breakfast. I've often stayed in hotels for my birthday, but it's the first time the staff spontaneously had this nice gesture. We will be back for sure!

We had a perfect stay, but if I have to mention something it's the depressing view from the balcony, but it's not something the hotel can do anything about. All the rooms on the back look over the same parking lot and the ones on the front look onto the street, which is louder and not a very nice view either. To be fair, you don't notice it anymore after the first day, just a pity if you expected to enjoy a nice balcony for reading or resting. One other (tiny) thing is that breakfast time is not flexible. You have to book a slot 24h in advance every day because the breakfast room is too small to accommodate everyone at the same time. But if you're accustomed to getting up around the same time every day anyway this shouldn't be a deal breaker as the breakfast room in itself is very nice and you have plenty of time to have breakfast (we never felt pressured to leave) that's the advantage of working with slots as well.

Outstanding hotel that truly understands what great customer service means!

This hotel is really outstanding! From the moment we got there to the last interaction we felt welcome and well taken care of with so much attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well decorated. I stayed there with my extended family and we all agreed that the breakfast was likely the best we ever had. Fresh high quality food prepared extremely well. The sauna and steam room facilities were relaxing, private and just beautiful. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach. Every staff member goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

Nice little Hotel, with friendly staff and good equiped suites. Breakfast was delicious and has good variety for all tastes.

Es war in jeder Hinsicht ein toller Aufenthalt.

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. Parkplätze stehen direkt vor dem Hotel zur Verfügung. Die Innenstadt ist in wenigen Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer, was zwar nicht groß, aber mit allem ausgestattet war, was man gerne hat - plus eine kleine Kitchenecke mit Kühlschrank, Nespresso Maschine inklusive Kapslen, die auf Wunsch auf kostenfrei nachgeliefert wurde. Das Frühstück lässt aus meiner Sicht keine Wünsche offen inklusive einer sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Bedienung - alles wunderbar. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Ein wundervolles verlängertes Wochenende dort im Windhuk

Sehr schöne geräumige Suite. Fussläufig zur City, zum Strand und Surf World Cup. Das Frühstück war mega lecker. Es herrscht eine familiäre Atmosphäre und das Team ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!!

Die Lage ist super, in wenigen Minuten ist man an den Strand sowie in die Stadt gelaufen. Die Suiten sind sehr schön eingerichtet, das Personal sehr freundlich und das Frühstück bombastisch!

Für gehbehinderte Personen nicht geeignet, da viele Stufen ansonsten gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.

Es war alles top. Der Service war hervorragend, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Lage ist perfekt,die Zimmer sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr geräumig. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum.

Es gibt nichts negatives, wer hier war zu beanstanden hat bleibt am besten zu Hause.
