Decent luxury experience with a few flaws
- Excellent location in Westerland and to explore all parts of the island - Spacious rooms - Authentic and neat vintage interior as well as beautiful, charming decor - The SPA (modern and quiet with all necessary amenities) - Delicious breakfast with great choice à la carte - Last but not least, a very professional and pleasant staff at the reception with outstanding recommendations concerning nearby sophisticated restaurants and bars (many thanks, Elena again! It was lovely!)
- Room service: A five star hotel should have the (international) standard of two services per day - Quietness: There was a major building site close to the wing of the hotel where the room was located. During weekdays the "wake up service" was guaranteed right at 7am by the buzz saws and noise of percussion drills - Breakfast processes: Sometimes quite hectic and lacking coordination (but the staff always had a smile on their faces)

Superb
A classic beautiful hotel with charm. Nice spacious suites, and ideal for the waterfront in the heart of Westerland. We also liked the in-room dining experience, and the hotel garage with direct access was convenient.
