The location.

Too expensive even there was cold water in the pool and no TV no Internet.

Even for single person the room is super small. If you run around in the bathroom can hit your head on the wall .

Exceptional

Whenever I come back to Sylt for the Petro Surf Festival I like to stay at the Wyn. Strandhotel Sylt. There are better and more luxurious hotels on the island but this one tick all the boxes also when you are traveling with a slightly smaller budget. It's a great compromise, on the seafront bang in the center of Westerland.

The only thing is - if your room is facing the parking lot and not the sea it is not a great view... so make sure to book anything facing west.

Super breakfast and amazing roof top bar with incredible view. Unfortunately had no time to use the spa, but it looked really cool - Weill definitely give it a try next time :-)

Superb

The room was good as expected but the price for the sea view was a bit too expensive. Overall the service was excellent. Property was very well maintained. Very close to the beach and the common floor was beautiful to watch from.

The food could have more vegetarian options. The Spa could not take reservations 1 day before. But most people might decide to take the spa spontaneously and hope the hotel change their policy on it.

Relaxed, cool stay by a gorgeous beach with delicious food

Food was high quality and the staff incredibly friendly. Attention to detail everywhere. Spa area was relaxing - lived the bar area too. The sauna with a view was fabulous!

Not worth the price.

Good location, nice breakfast, room in good condition.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. If it was rated 4 stars and priced 50% less, this hotel would receive a good rating. However (and this is based on our extensive 5-star hotel experiences from traveling all across the world), over 500 EUR/night for 19 m2 room with no view is absolutely exaggerated. The staff (with few exceptions, especially in the restaurant) is also disorganised and not too engaging (even rude sometimes). The included dinner is not up to the expected level and the food (from the self service buffets) often runs out. Given the location, if this was a 4* hotel for 200-300 EUR/night, it would be a fair deal. Unfortunately it isn't.

The food was great and the staff was very friendly and accommodating

The room was very small, the bathroom smelled bad. The bed sheets had holes, there was no rooms available with a view. The photos on booking.com looked a lot better than the actual place/facilities. The price was too high for what we got and compared to other better accommodations on the island.

For the price paid - the room Should be 4-5 times bigger... but my guess is that during the “high season” all hotels in Sylt are a bit spoiled by the demand...

Very good service in general, nice rooms and very clean all over the hotel.

Dinner was not bad, but not anything to write home about either. Dinner was included in the price, but drinks was very expensive. A bottle of water costs 5.5 eur.

Positiv hervorzuheben sind vor allem die zentrale Lage des Hotels sowie die sehr gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Besonders schön war der Blick vom Zimmer in Richtung Meer, der den Aufenthalt optisch aufgewertet hat. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und professionell im Umgang. Das Frühstück war solide und vollkommen in Ordnung, auch wenn es nicht außergewöhnlich war.

Das größte Manko war für mich eindeutig das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für den aufgerufenen Preis war die Ausstattung des Zimmers eher mittelmäßig und insgesamt nichts Besonderes. Auch wenn alles funktional war, hat ein gewisser Komfort oder ein hochwertiger Eindruck gefehlt. Der Ausblick war zwar schön, konnte diesen Punkt aber nicht ausgleichen. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung, aber nicht auf einem Niveau, das den Preis rechtfertigt oder eine Weiterempfehlung im Freundeskreis nahelegt.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück und die Saunen mit großem Pool waren sehr gut. Bei der Zimmerwahl muss man entscheiden zwischen hohen Preis mit Nordseeblick oder niedrigen Preis und Blick auf den Parkplatz.

Alles fast Perfekt! Wir hoffen. dass dieses Hotel noch lange besteht.

Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, es erfüllt alle Wünsche, das Personal sorgt für alle Extrawünsche. Das Zimmer war absolut in Ordnung ,sauber und gut gepflegt, das Reinigungspersonal oft anwesend. Der Strand ist sofort zu erreichen ( Fußweg 1 Minute) Wir waren bereits 2019 das erste mal Gäste in diesem Hotel und waren damals schon sehr begeistert von der dortigen Atmosphäre und dem gesamten Angebot des Hauses. Auch dieses Jahr wurden unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt, Personal stets sehr freundlich, immer hilfsbereich, alles sehr sauber. Wir waren sehr erfreut, dass am 24.12. wieder ein tolles Weihnachtsessen angeboten wurde!!!

Man bekommt immer überall Tee, aber die Möglichkeit einen Kaffee auf dem Zimmer oder im Restaurant zu jeder Zeit zu bekommen hat mir sehr gefehlt!
