Good but not as expected

The lady at the reception was very helpful and willing to help, gentle and kind. The place was quiet , cosy with its own parking wich was very good.

I stayed one more time in the past and it was much better ( Bigger room ).Maybe it was the room they game me ,because it was not so good as those photos at Booking.It had an extra problem with the heating , finaly solved.

Florence design

The apartament was very spacious and clean, the building has a designer soul and the garden is really cozy. The place feels safe and it is a walk away from the tram stop (total of 30-40 minutes from the city centre)

We had a problem with air conditioning - it happens, nobody's fault - the management dealt with it professionally and we were impressed by the attitude and all the effort put in solving the trouble. The city tax was an unpleasant surprise (in Florence being higher than anywhere else we stayed so far) We accept it has to be paid but it would be fair to mention the cost before booking

SIMPLY THE BEST!

We spent a month travelling throughout Tuscany. Our departing flt was out of Florence. Villa Ruch was a perfect accomodation. I cannot sayenough about facilities, staff, cleanliness, rate. BED was amazing! I will reco.mend it to everyone I can. Seriously an OASIS for weary travellers seeking great affordable accomodations.

We loved loved this property, the layout, the decor, the attention to detail, the great customer service, and we would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend it.

We loved the place. The only downfall could be the location if you are looking to be closer to the city center. And even though the property was extremely clean, the housekeeping forgot to take out the trash and recycle from the containers of our apartment from the previous guest. Other than that, all was perfect.

Close to the Airport

This is a nice apartment close to the airport and off the highway. The receptionist was friendly, helped us in English, and walked us to our room. There is an off-street lighted parking lot. The Il Genio Italiano restaurant is a 5 minute walk.

There was significant penetration of overnight lighting into the apartment since the curtains hang 6 inches from the window. It was a plus so you could see the staircase in the middle of the unit and not hit your head, but interfered with sleep. Although close to the airport, the drive there to drop off the rental car is the craziest traffic engineering you have ever experienced.

Do not recommend

The property looks nice outside and at some extent inside too, however for the price charged it has several major issues: it doesn't have microwave. Being an apartment, without microwave is unacceptable. The beds are uncomfortable including the mattress. The bathroom requires some improvements and is small. The reception opening times are ridiculous. How is it possible to have such business and only have the reception open for a few hours during the day and weekend is closed.. We were required to call a number to confirm check out This info is not even disclosed in Booking and it totally unacceptable. They have strict rules for guests. Check in is at 15h, however you are required to leave at 10h am, yes at 10, and if you don't they charge you an extra night. They have a note on the door of the apartment with this rules. I find this completely inappropriate and shows lack of orientation for this type of business. They don't prioritise guests. Too expensive for the experience and I certainly do not recommended.

Love this place! Highly recommend Villa Aruch for Florence based travel.

Villa Aruch is a very charming place! It’s great for travelers with cars and those that want the apartment feeling. There is a free parking lot on the property. Walking to the tram station is less than 10 minutes (there is an underground pass to cross the main boulevard). The loft was equipped for cooking (pots, pans, plates, cups), 2 tvs (Italian dubbed channels), wifi, and even has a very relaxing space in the garden for all stayers to enjoy. The bed was very soft, and the pillows were great! Everything around was quite, you can even hear birds chirping. The receptionist was very welcoming! She took the time to show the apartment and gave instructions for the tramvia to reach the center and how to use the air conditioner. From the villa to downtown Firenza took about 20-25mins. This includes the walking to the Rossi tram station. The T2 tram comes every 5 mins, so don’t worry if you see it leaving as you arrive. It takes about 10-15 mins to reach the last stop for the old town - Unity. I loved the architect of the building and the location to the tram to avoid driving into Firenze.

We didn’t have any issues with the apartment or location. There were a lot of mosquitoes, so I would advise against opening the windows and bring some bug spray.
