John and Sue were lovely and very welcoming, they went out of their way to offer help when needed. The breakfast is fast becoming a topic of conversation about our trip away, amazing range of options and expertly cooked. We even managed to snap a couple of pics of some local deer who visited the garden.

The location of Powdermills is fantastic, nestled next to the small village of Furnace and not far from Inverary, it’s ideally located to explore the surrounding area. The Campbell room was huge, with great views out towards the Loch. The shower/bathroom was equally big with a lovely warm shower. The bed was comfortable and since it was Winter it had an electric blanket for extra cosiness. The room had plenty of hanging space and drawers for tidying things away. The highlight for me was Breakfast, cooked to perfection, plenty of choice and nice hot coffee.

Very comfortable room in an amazing house. Peaceful setting in own grounds with walks available. Welcomed with tea and home made cake. Hosts happy to share information on areas to visit and local history. Great breakfast with plenty of choice.
