The location was great. The hotel was warm and inviting. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Thankyou
Would have liked clean towels for the second night, and didn't get our coffee/tea etc filled up.

Big comfy bed
Good buffet breakfast (although no particular cooked vegetarian option - you just don't take the various meat items)
Great location
Our room was right at the far end of the building which should have been a quiet spot but the rooms have very poor sound insulation. So we could hear everything in the neighbouring room and every footstep overhead made the floorboards squeak.
Dogs barking in the corridors.
Staff seemed distant. The hotel was very busy with a large group and it felt as if they were a higher priority.
From reading reviews in advance I was prepared for the rather tired decor inside the hotel. But it was a surprise to see how neglected the grounds are. It wouldn't take much effort to tidy them up and improve the bedroom views. Hide the bins, clear up litter.
