The location and the view are just that good. Its a calm and quiet area which is soo good and needed for a rest. Quite far from city centre so if you didnt have a car, its something to look out for. The room and view is good, the breakfast are just modest and as it is. Dont expect good breakfast. If youre keen for a good food maybe venture out. The breakfast are just to help you start your day not on empty stomach. Commendable and good service from the staff, so worth a good visit

Checked in efficiently, given room 614, pleasantly surprised with the decor, however we were there just to chill and the tv wasn’t working, quickly move to room 627. Room was so comfortable, beds were among the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Shower wasn’t too warm in the morning but ok for a quick shower, breakfast was nice however I do like hot food served on a hot plate. Over all great stay for the price and would definitely stay again.

Me and my colleague booked 2 rooms as we were working locally ( 1 night ) on arrival the hotel looked rather rundown and tired , outside was pallets of tiles and rubble , inside we spoke to the receptionist about our rooms and was told there not ready yet ( this was aroubd 4pm ) so we said we would look around and come back ,, I asked if we could eat and was told the restaurant, spa , pool were all being renovated ( no mention on the website) so we went outside to look around the Clyde river is a minute walk so we had a look , on walking back we saw around 20 plus Rats running around the back of the hotel by the bins there was a worker on the loading bay also watching then so clearly nothing is being done about them ,around a rubbish bags and a sewer pipe there were lots more ...but we had nowhere else to stay so went back to receptionist and got ot room keys , luckily we are on floor 4 so no rats there but in the corridor the bed linen was still laying outside the rooms in the corridor at 5pm .. the bath in my room was all cracked and delamibated and very tired ... all in all not a nice hotel and would never stay or recommend it .
