The location was very convenient for our stay. Simple to check in. Overall very quiet, very clean, bed was comfortable. I really appreciated that someone called and asked if all was ok and asked if I needed fresh coffee tea milk biscuits etc. a nice cafe Puffers just opposite for breakfast and the restaurant Niche is very good and convenient. Overall a very nice stay. Definitely would book again.

This property is in a lovely location. It is one of three small properties. Our property consisted of a double bed, good facilities and a bathroom with a decent sized shower . Decor is nice. The bathroom was lovely and overall appeared to be a very comfortable property to stay the night or longer and would be lovely in the summertime.
When I arrived at the property the heating was on. Obviously a good sign as our stay was in February. During the night it became very cold and it was clear the heating was off. In the morning the property was freezing. Although I was able to contact the host, and received a quick reply, we were unable to fix the problem. In addition to this my daughter and I both had strange sensations in our throat. On further investigation this appeared to be because of dust or allergens in the atmosphere. The property was quite dusty and obviously it hadn’t recently been aired. I felt our trip had been spoiled because of these factors and I did ask for some compensation. However, I heard nothing further from the host. I felt the lack of contact after asking for this was inappropriate and disappointing even if it had been to decline my request.
