A weekend in Troon

The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, with fascinating views. The welcome pack was appreciated. The food at Scott's, which is on site, was delicious (we went three times) , however it is very popular so booking is probably a good idea.

Nothing. We explored Troon by following the walking trails and it would be very convenient if going over to Arran, , we could see the ferry from the balcony.

It is a wee hidden gem. Very modern, clean and with excellent facilities. Everything that you need with small kitchen, big shower and tv’s in both livingroom and bedroom. There was also a small balcony (no chairs) probably due to the time of year but nonetheless lovely views over the marina and water.

Noisy night … with very broken sleep

Location is great for Scott’s restaurant, view is good and apartments are nice and clean.

Shower door didn’t close & seal properly - bathroom floor flooded into lounge area. No dressing gowns (there were slippers though). Windy night meant the sailing boats howled and wailed all night. 6:30am fire alarm (caused “by dust from tiling work “) no one came to explain or say it was actually a false alarm and not to stand outside in the freezing cold wind & rain. No door into bedroom (noisy fridge in kitchen area)

Stayed in family room 2, lovely apartment and well equipped. No oven but we had checked that before we arrived. Lots of nice touches like snacks, diffuser, lots of soft towels and good toiletries. Beds were comfortable with additional blankets but not needed as the heating is very efficient. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely surprise has become a recommendation to all.

Super clean facility. Great layout of the room. Everything is of high quality and stylishly decorated, even little details within the room made one feel that this is run by people who care. We and a nice view out over the marina. The staff were delightful, it is reassuring to know someone is on hand all night and all day if needed. The price was very fair.

Had a lovely 3 day stay at the salt lodge. The apartment was spotless and staff were very welcoming. Location was fantastic, the view from the balcony of the marina was brilliant watching the yachts coming in and going out. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Photos on site looked like walk-in shower so disappointed over/bath shower and no non-slip shower mat. I have recently had knee ops so getting into a bath not possible/safe. Perhaps pictures are generic for the flats in the building? No egg cups!! Generator outside the bedroom window so couldn’t have it open at night.

This is a must visit experience

Without doubt one of the best places I have stayed . The apartment was excellent as was the views from it , and it was next to Scotts restaurant which was superb also . The reception was so friendly and professional . Strongly recommend , and we will return for sure .

Lovely place to stay

Had a lovely 3 day break. Lodge was immaculate and staff were lovely especially the housekeeper, she was friendly and attentive to our needs.

A wee bit out of the way if you have mobility issues, never stopped us from getting out and about. Short taxi ride to town.

Great place to stay - more like a home than a hotel !

Comfortable beds, sofa and armchairs. Huge shower/bathroom with bathtub and large shower. Added bonus of kitchen area with well stocked utensils and equipment.

A high quality, stylish and lovely place to stay. Highly recommended

A really nicely designed place. Modern, stylish, and very thoughtful in its design. The kitchen had excellent utensils and everything was high end and all you could want. The 2 TVs, one each for large living room and bedroom were large, modern and excellent. I really liked the space offered by the separate living/kitchen area and bedroom and bathroom. Scotts restaurant next door was also excellent for high quality breakfasts and dinner. There is also a view over the yachts in the Harbour which was nice to sit in the small but lovely outdoor table and chairs.

Its right next door to a timber yard, the place itself seems to be run by a yachting concern which was a bit weird but no complaints about that bit. Despite all those great things above, it was expensive, but having said that, I was there at peak season, and anything decent seemed to have inflated prices.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Lovely location overlooking the harbor and very close to local restaurants, cafes, pubs. The apartment was beautifully decorated and spotless! Very dog friendly also.
