a place to beat the heat, but not the cigarette smoke or noise

air conditioning was good

the smoking area was right beneath our window and smokers were smoking all times of the day and night, so we couldn't get much fresh air and we ended up inhaling smoke in our "non-smoking" room. also, the other hotel room doors were regularly slammed shut very loudly, sometimes at midnight, 4am...which jarred us both out of sleep and was very disturbing.

Great place to stay!

The hotel is located right across from the train station which makes it a safe choice for travellers. The ambience is quite cozy and the service is very good. The attendants are friendly and very helpful.

Great base for a city break in Rennes or daytrips around Brittanny

The hotel was very conveniently located, right opposite the main bus and train stations, and only 20 min walk from the old town centre. If you did not want into town, you could use the Metro right in front of the hotel, at 4.50 per day or 13 Euro for a 3-days pass which also included unlimited travel on all Rennes City Busses. The airport is only 15 min away by taxi or shuttle bus. The hotel itself was modern and clean, located in a very quiet area, with many eating places around. The room was convenient and bright, with on-suite bathroom. The hotel did not have a restaurant but hat a small bar and breakfast area, where a delicious breakfast buffet was served every morning. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Everyone spoke French and English, which was great since I did not understand French.

Close to train station. Breakfast buffet is decent

The shower had black mold. Needs a good bleaching. We booked the room because of the air conditioning which is not standard in France. Room cleaner turned off the air conditioning on the 2nd day and we came back after a long hot day to a stifling hot room. The front desk told us that’s what they’re supposed to do. Not happy at all with that.

The staff was nice and the room was quiet. The location is good because very close to the train station and a 10 min walk to the old town.

Not enough towels (we only had two towels for two). The room smelled of dampness although having the window open.

Good hotel for a short stay

Great location near station. It had a bath! There was a kettle in the room but no fridge. There was a variety of cafes/ restaurants nearby. Breakfast was OK. Staff were friendly.

No fridge - we had to ask the staff for milk each day for our tea and sometimes had to pay 2 euro.
