A very good hotel

Its a great location if you are travelling as its right next to the train station. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable, bigger than some Ibis hotels ive stayed in. The breakfast is good and fresh a nice selection of cheeses. You can also get snacks / drinks in the evening. Staff are very nice and helpful.

Bathrooms are a little small but ok for 1 person. It can be a little noisy if you open the window as its next to the train station. Other than that nothing to complain about.

Very good hotel. It will do the job just fine

Very good and comfortable bed. Everything was clean. The breakfast was surprisingly good. The location is amazing if you're arriving by train, you just come straight out of the station and check-in. We were leaving by the airport, which is best to take a metro and then a bus. Also pretty easy. We were able to rent a car at the train station as well. The centre of town is a short walk or a very short metro.

Not much to complain about. Could be improved with a kettle in the room. The TV didn't have any smart features, so no catching up on your shows from back home. Also one of those strange pod bathrooms, nothing wrong with them, they just don't feel very homely.

Recommended for stay in Rennes

Best possible location, right next to train and metro station but very quiet, easy to go everywhere in the city. Shower was good, shower gel and shampoo was provided as always in Ibis. The room was very clean. Most importantly, Ibis has AC.

Perfect stay for Rennes railway travellers

Great location strainght at Rennes central railway station, same time surrounding area is modern, quiet & well maintained. Easy access to city downtown area within walking distance. Friendly and helpful english-speaking personnel ready to assist you.

Reception & lobby area provide quite limited space and may get crowded when congested with large groups of hotel guests travelling together, especially if early breakfast packages being distributed same time.

Not baby friendly. Asked for travel cot I was given a cot with no mattress , baby had to where to sleep, went for breakfast and told no high chairs for babies. Not baby friendly at all.

Great hotel near the train station.

The hotel was very clean and had a nice cool/modern vibe. Room was large with a wide desk. Very close to the train station; go up the escalator towards the back and the hotel will be a couple of steps away.

Convenient but not a great stay

Hotel is easily accessible Breakfast is really good

Due to electrical breakdown, wifi was not working and we could not get a key so staff had to open the room door for us every time. No compensation was offered to us, knowing we come from overseas and don’t have data. Only 1 lift out of 2 was working. Cleaning staff is noisy and never say hello.

Best location for the station.

Right next to the station. (Very early train to St Malo for the ferry - a better option than staying in St Malo). They locked up and charged my e-bike very efficiently.

It is like every other Ibis. A bit soulless but you know what you are getting when you book.

Very comfortable and great location, able to walk or metro anywhere.

Slightly annoyed I received an email explaining the car park was free at gare sud and it wasn't. I would have parked for free and travelled to the hotel by metro. The website also said checkout at 2pm and it was 12noon. All fine but incorrect info on web and confirmation emails.

Comfortable hotel, very convenient for the railway station.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived at about 10 a.m., but she was able to give us our rooms straight away. This hotel is really well situated, virtually in the railway station. The rooms were pleasant, the bed comfortable, nice bathroom
