Mr Cas Hotels Taksim - Special Category

This will probably sound like a paid review but let me just tell you this hotel. The staff location and value is off the charts. I arranged transportation and although the communication was slightly delayed, they got the job done. I would highly recommend contacting them to arrange for transportation. Although a lot of reviews complain about the street noise, we had a courtyard roomic and absolutely loved it. It was so quiet that we slept in every morning until around 10:00 a.m. and only on Saturday night. Did we hear at loud music coming from the rooftop restaurant which by the way is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed on the second floor in the mini museum and it was delightful. The room was cleaned everyday with no issues at all and the location is perfect for wandering shopping, dining, etc. Getting a taxi to and from is no problem and if you are looking for a great American style breakfast I'd recommend Pera in the Morning, which is just down the street from the hotel. But honestly we ate all along Istikal Street and had good food especially at the vendors near the temple at taksim square. I probably need another 3 weeks just to go down all the side streets but it was beautiful. We will be back.

We love this hotel. It is right in the heart of Istikial street, a perfect place to explore the main street and lanes around it. It can be noisy especially at night, but you can opt for rooms facing away from the street The hotel is beautifully furnished and has a lot of character. The staff, in particular Benjamin, is just wonderful and very helpful. Istanbul was our last stop before we head for home and the stay at Cas Taksim was a really nice end to a fabulous vacation.

The music of the club is all around you there is no escape. However, it’s right in the Center of new city area if that’s what you want, but the music doesn’t stop until 7am. If you can’t put up with noise when sleeping I don’t recommend it, and ALSO the shower of our room was literally just dripping out of the head, was impossible to shower, the water was either too hot and dripping or too cold… I don’t recommend this hotel in conclusion.
