I was very disappointed with my second stay at Marmara Taksim Hotel in Istanbul. Whenever I called reception to request basic items such as a spoon, a plate, or other necessities for the room, I had to call at least three to five times. It usually took 45 minutes to an hour for these items to be delivered. Housekeeping was also inconsistent and inadequate. Used cups and glasses were removed but not replaced. Tea and coffee were not replenished, and toothbrushes were not provided in the bathroom. I had to call reception repeatedly just to receive these basic amenities. The reception staff were also not as helpful or efficient as they had been during my previous stay, and the overall quality of service was disappointing. I had stayed at this hotel before and had a much better experience. Unfortunately, the standard of service I experienced this time did not meet my expectations. I regret choosing this hotel for a second time. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.
