    Finding the best hotel in Istanbul is surely a never-ending task given the sheer number of choices, but one thing is certain: Ruz Hotel is in my top 3 best hotels in Istanbul. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and all the amenities work perfectly. The best part? The complimentary drinks and the very nice staff.

    Historical building converted into hotel, super central location with easy subway access. Rooms have beautiful decor and the character of the building is well preserved. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant on rooftop has amazing views and delicious food. They even managed to squeeze a narrow swimming in.

    Overall, a bit overpriced for what it is. The photos of the hotel give the impression it is actually nicer (and bigger) than it actually is. The rooftop is quite nice, but the prices of the restaurant are very high, especially for breakfast (do not have breakfast there, it is suuuuuuuuper expensive and just not very good or authentic).
