LOCATION is excellent.
Historical, amazing building and well maintained.

Forgotten things were not found or saved in the "lost and found"...

Unique hôtel with exceptional history. The staff is extremely helpful and made our stay special. We have been upgraded and given a tour to Atatürk’s room.
We have been woken up 8.50am on Sunday morning for water refill as we didn’t think anyone can knock the room for any service on our check out day so we didn’t put any do not disturb sign.

Breakfast, location, bar
The hotel interior looks over an open inner courtyard so when there are events such as weddings, the noise travels up to all the rooms overlooking this courtyard as the dining room is down there below. During our stay of 3 nights, there were 2 different weddings and so each night we were kept awake until 1am.
The staff don’t seem to care about that or the paying guests, only the wedding.
The airconditioner in the room didn’t work despite me calling reception many times.
The water pressure in the shower terrible
We changed rooms because of the noise and the aircon and water pressure were better. However the noise from the latest wedding was the same.
It’s basically a wedding hotel.
If you’re not there for the wedding DO NOT stay here unless noise doesn’t bother you which it won’t for many guests. We left this hotel to stay at the Ciragan which is 20 times better.
