We had a wonderful stay at The Bank Hotel Istanbul. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and the staff truly made our experience memorable. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, especially when we were traveling with young children.
One thing to keep in mind is that the surrounding area is quite hilly, which may be challenging if you’re traveling with a stroller, young children, or heavy luggage. Additionally, the main hotel entrance does not have a ramp, so getting a stroller or large suitcases inside can be a bit difficult. We hope the hotel considers improving accessibility in the future.
Despite these minor inconveniences, the outstanding hospitality, comfortable rooms, and excellent service more than made up for them. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

My overnight layover stay at The Bank Hotel Istanbul was largely very enjoyable. The property is beautiful, and I appreciated the refined vintage aesthetic throughout the hotel.
The spa being open until 11:00 PM was a major plus. I walked in around 8:00 PM and was accommodated immediately. My massage and Turkish bath with Lillian were excellent. However, once my service concluded around 10:00 PM, the tone shifted noticeably. I was made to feel like an imposition as staff were clearly preparing to leave, despite the spa officially remaining open for another hour. This change in demeanor was off putting and felt inconsistent with Marriott’s standard of service. Had the service level remained consistent through the end, the spa experience would have been outstanding. I do want to note that the gentleman at the spa front desk was warm, professional, and attentive.
The rooftop restaurant is excellent, and the lobby bar is beautiful. I was unable to enjoy the bar due to a private event, which was understandable, though I would have liked more time to experience it.
My room was exceptional. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. I appreciated the availability of room service, a well stocked minibar, and thoughtful welcome amenities.
Overall, this was a strong stay, particularly for a short visit. I look forward to returning to Istanbul and would absolutely stay here again, ideally with more time to fully enjoy the property.

a gem of a hotel - beautiful design and great quality. Terrific staff too. We'd certainly return. The standard room was quite small, though, but still a lovely stay.
