Really enjoyed staying here for a few days. Just a short walk to transport options and cafes and shops, although it is mainly surrounded by tool shops. Not the quietest or the newest place to stay, but the staff were super helpful, and the room was clean and secure.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Although located in a bustling commercial machinery trading district, Art Karaköy Hotel offers a surprisingly comfortable stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with useful kitchen facilities. Its location is excellent, with Galata Tower, Karaköy tram station, ferry piers, and the bus station all within easy walking distance. Special thanks to Mara and the rest of the staff for their friendliness and willingness to help. Despite the occasional communication barrier, they were always warm and welcoming. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended! 😊

We had a great experience at this hotel. It is located less than 10 minutes walk from the Karaköy Train station, Karaköy Ferry terminal and Galata Tower. A convenience store, a bakery and a restaurant is located just by the exit of the hotel. To try the traditional Turkish breakfast at non tourist rates, make sure to walk 5-7 minutes to Kitir Breakfast by Galata Tower. The staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. Baran always made sure that we were satisfied with our stay at all times. Our flight time was changed a day prior and we arrived a couple of hours earlier than the check in time but they were accommodating and had our room cleaned with high priority. We had the city view room on the 5th floor with the view of Galata tower. The room was on the smaller side but very clean and well kept. There is also an elevator in the hotel. For a true Turkish experience with really good standards, this is definitely the spot to stay.

Staff was not friendly toward guests, very hard to communicate with language barriers. We had conflict and arguments with staff during stay, even questioned guests to show passport when you walked to the other floor. Eventually the hotel public area is too small when you need to find some way to sit privately is very difficult, the lift was really small to fit 1 people with 1 luggage only. The standard pratise of hotel is to perform daily tidy up, but the hotel didn't do it for our first night (maybe we need to hang the make up sign on door?). The only satisfactory was the room condition is cleaned.
