Urban Chic - Exeter Street

Great location to covet garden and china town. The apartment is spacious.

The apartment could put a little more effort into touching the bathroom up. Cabinets are falling out and multiple terrible tears and wears. It was advertised as 2 bedrooms and 2 bath apartment but when we got there, one of the bathrooms had the out of order sign. It wasn’t communicated to us prior to arrival at all. The 8 of us had to use just 1 bathroom (which definitely needs an upgrade and the sink was very clogged) No baby crib was not set up even though that was an additional charge. Host also charged some of additional fees on our card without communicating.

there was no plugs in the bathtub for my wife to have a bath. otherwise it was all perfect.

The location is fantastic. Quiet street between the Strand and Covent Garden. Also, unusually for London it is a very large airy apartment. Lots of space. Well equipped and with the advantage of 2 bathrooms.

The main problem was the heating. It was freezing. It appeared that the hosts/manager was well aware of this as the doors are wedged open to try and get heat in from the bathroom, and thermostats were set to 32 degrees - but result was more like 15 degrees. The sofa bed was also very uncomfortable. The place has been very nice but is now a bit knocked about with doors not fitting, squeaking, etc. The front door to the street did not close easily. People kept leaving it open, which creates a security issue. More maintenance required!
