The location of this apartment is unbeatable. You have numerous landmarks within a walking distance, as well as an enormous variety of cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The Charing Cross train station is a 5-minute walk, in case you need to travel by train outside of London. The host was super friendly and responsive and checked on us multiple times during our stay to make sure we have everything that we need.

We were warned in advance about the noise from the nearby pub, so this was not a big issue for us. We also knew that the elevator was not working, so we were prepared for that as well. We had a little trouble getting the keys to the apartment upon arrival, seems like the original instructions we received per email were outdated. The host responded quickly and gave us the updated instructions. The apartment is comfortable, but could be improved with some minor repairs, e.g. the drain in one of the sinks seemed to be clogged, the fan in the same bathroom was not working, there were some scuff marks on a few walls, as well as on some of the furniture. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, even though it was obvious that the mattresses are quite old. Overall the apartment was clean, but there were a few spots that had been missed, e.g. some hair from the previous guests in one of the bathrooms, the kitchen table could also have been cleaned a little better.

The lift was not available due to maintenance which the older members our family struggled with as the property is on the 2nd floor, younger members had no issues.

Very comfortable, well appointed and clean. Centrally located close to theatres, shops, pubs, restaurants and London Underground. Instructions were very clear on how to locate the apartment, gain entry and how to operate everything from lights to heating to dishwasher.

There was nothing we didn't like during our stay.

Women travelling alone are advised to exercise caution.* During our visit as a group of women, we encountered several obstacles. Although the apartment was appealing and fully equipped, its lack of access by car and down an alley detracted from our overall satisfaction. Our flight landed late, and we arrived at the apartment past midnight. Notably, there is no direct car access to the building—a detail that would have been helpful in the description. Our driver dropped us off on a nearby street, leaving us to carry twelve bags on the main road and down an alley where, unfortunately, the sensor lights weren't working that night. When we got to the entrance, the combination code failed to let us in. After numerous attempts to reach out, the host Mike eventually responded and directed us to use WhatsApp for further assistance because he was tired, basically dismissing the fact that we were distressed. He later informed us where to access a key for entry. Once inside, we found the elevator out of order—a situation that, according to Mike, had persisted for a week but hadn’t been mentioned before our arrival. Given these issues, we decided to stay just one night and then moved to a hotel where we felt safer. This accommodation may be unsuitable for solo female visitors or those arriving late at night.
