Fabulous for the price, clean well equipped and staff couldn't be more helpful, good selection for breakfast too.

Automatic tap in bathroom, placed makeup bag in sink and tap came on, managed to dry everything. Just be aware.

More an observation than didn't like: Couldn't make the TV work, seemed not to be a signal Had that been as issue I would have asked reception. --Wasn't planning on watching it anyway as I primarily came for a meeting at the AK Bell library over the road. Maybe a couple of coat hooks by the door would be handy. And a few more 13A sockets. But overall very good value for money and it is clear that someone cares a great deal about the property.

Great value stopover

Extremely good value for money and the bonus of the Indian/Nepalese restaurant downstairs made the evening meal really easy and food was lovely. Everyone was very welcoming

Rooms were clean bed was a bit hard but I prefure soft mattress my prefence plenty tea coffee in room plenty clean towels staff were very polite and helpful breakfast was good plenty choice as well as tea / coffee / juices ect

TV didn't work no cold water in tap all though they did supply 2x small bottles of water was a bit noisy as rooms were quite close together so could here other guests parking was difficult as there wasnt much spaces and had to cross a bus lane to get to parking we were on the top floor with only stairs so found this a bit difficult with mobility problems but as I never informed them of my disability this was down to me .

The breakfast was excellent, the portions of anything were too big, we struggled to finish. The location great for our needs, we attended a function nearby and this was one of the reasons we chose this accommodation.

First impressions weren’t great, the carpet in the entrance hallway was dated and worn, but improvements are ongoing and new carpets are in place upstairs in both our rooms.

Expensive for an ok at best stay

Staff were friendly and beds comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful.

It was clear there was insufficient staff. The bathroom had a strong mildew smell and had minor maintenance requirements (broken shower door handle etc). The internet was very poor. No towels provided (we discovered this late in the evening and had to go and request them from next door.

Perfect place to stay when on the road. The Indian food was excellent

It´s a simple hotel so the room wasn`t fancy or anything. But all we needed was all there and the price was very reasonable. Food - as well as the evening meal in the restaurant as the breakfast were very good. Especially the evening meal (Indian) was delicious! we can only recommend to eat in-house.

all ok. Only parking is a bit tricky. There is a car park but it´s somewhat small.

Disappointing

Didn’t have breakfast. That was one of the reasons I marked it down as breakfast was served only from 7.30am until 9am - after a long day at a wedding the previous day and a late return to the hotel, that was too early for us on a Sunday morning.

In addition to the breakfast timings, the place was a little tired and shabby. Cleanliness could certainly be improved.

The guest house is part of the hotel.So you collect your room key from hotel reception.it looks like they are doing some renovation work,but don't that put you off My room had clearly been redone,new decor,super comfy bed and a lovely bathroom.Good breakfast in the morning too! It's a very short walk to the station,and minutes away to the town centre.

Nothing! Horrible stay. Staff were unsociable, room was a disappointing. It was loud and drunken fights which made you feel unsafe.

Perhaps the other side of hotel was better but unlikely. Didn’t sleep at all as felt very unsafe.

The room was small but comfortable, clean with en-suite clean bathroom, has a big TV

Once checked in and finally settled in the bedroom to have a nap, the noise from renovation happening for a least a couple house somewhere in the building made that impossible

Location is fantastic..just minutes from the centre of perth Stayed in room 5,which had a fantastic renovation.all very modern and loved the rainfall shower Bed was super comfy and slept well Breakfast was very good with a choice of continental and cooked It"s in the indian restaurant,which looks good,as does the grampian hotel

Once they finish off the renovations in heidi guesthouse..it will look fab.wasn"t a problem The view is of a very high fence,but wasn"t there to stay in the room

Poor Wifi/Wrong Password in Bedroom Being refurbished so tired/dated in parts Only Fire Escape is down the main stairs so if they are blocked your screwed as windows don’t fully open. Not many car parking spaces (we had to park in a side road & be out before traffic warden round the next morning.

the receptionist was kind and friendly and reallocated my room so I could get better wifi for my meeting the mattress was super comfortable

breakfast is served in the next door building. it wasn't very nice. there were repairs happening downstairs and so it felt a bit like a building site the walls were thin and I could hear my neighbour talking on the phone it felt overall a bit grubby

Very high standard for the price paid

A newly refurbished room, clean an bright and smelt nice. Modern fittings in the bathroom. Good breakfast. Friendly staff and a very good price. Very near to the train station which was handy for me.

As its being renovated the rooms had no numbers on which was a little confusing. Would have liked a bedside table and lamp and another table for the tea making facilities as these were in front of the TV, but this may be something that hasn't yet been completed because of the renovations.

Location, free parking, fan in room automatically as it was a very hot day, nice touch and thoughtful. Sizeable room and functional bathroom and shower. For one night it was fine.

Pillows were exceptionally flat and probably needing replaced. Bed dubious. No socket for kettle, had to carry it over the room and boil it on the carpet, breakfast service was from a disinterested staff member. Yes he was working away but dragging feet around like a stroppy teenager. Watched him lift four mugs off a table that finished, went into the kitchen to wash them then brought them out still dripping in water. The woman who asked for a mug wasn’t impressed. Breakfast pre ordered, quality atrocious. Bacon pre cooked hours earlier and left to crust under a hot plate presumably but somehow served freezing. The rest clearly freshly made and hot so why not the bacon? It’s passable for a night but don’t stay any longer.
