The staff were wonderful and couldn't be more kind or friendly. Rooms need refreshing though.

All the staff were delightful, friendly and accomodating. The steak and the parmesan fries were beyond delicious, we thoroughly recommend them. Excellent EV Charger which we very much appreciated. (Note one of the review question asks for paid Wifi. The wifi was free and worked well.

Mattress and rooms were quite tired. Bathroom lacked a loo brush. I'd say the rooms need a refresh if possible. It would be handy to be able to have more than one key.

Value for money.

Nice comfortable room. Decent continental breakfast which was included in the price. Very cheap.

The hotel is a bit tired looking. Leaks from the ceiling in the dining room. Noisy floorboards from the room upstairs. Shower was pretty weak.

Perfectly located for my needs

The location was perfect. Every member of staff I spoke to was lovely. The room was quiet. Good car parking. Socket beside the bed. Ground floor room which was perfect for an older couple. Delighted that the hotel was pet free therefore suitable for allergy sufferers After reading the reviews I was a little apprehensive but I think some of the reviews were bit harsh. For the money I wasn't expecting luxury and I know how hard the hospitality industry was hit by the SG's decision to shutdown the country during Covid.

There was only one pillow each. The mattress was quite thin. The bedroom had fresh decor. The bathroom was functional but very dated and a little bit scruffy, particularly the shower tray. The bracket for the shower head was upside down so the water from the shower head wouldn't touch my body unless I held the shower head in my hand. I had thought that a continental breakfast would be available even if it cost extra. There was no breakfast available to buy on site.

Good budget hotel

Nice big family suite with a main room and a separate room for the parents. Friendly welcoming staff. Ample parking and not too far to the centre of Perth, only about 1 mile.

Different rooms were different temperatures - the bathroom was freezing! Also, the sink wouldn't drain properly and the shower leaked when we used it. There was a light fitting in our room with about 10 bulbs and more than half of them were out and needed replaced. The finishing on the whole hotel was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was not good - basic continental stuff left out. Very little ambience. Coffee was that horrible prepacket stuff

Location, free parking and free water in room.

Shower was cold, room had no heating on and had to get an additional portable heater for the room. Could feel the bed springs every time you moved. No hairdryer in room despite it being advertised as having one. Painting and presentation quite run down.

Room: The room was very warm, clean, and pleasant. Bed: Comfortable and suitable for a good night’s sleep. Recommended! :)

Breakfast: Quite simple and limited, but acceptable for a one-day - two days stay. Similar to a light Italian-style breakfast. Crossaint with Coffe :)

Fabulous stay and lovely food very attentive staff.

Cosy all been redecorated plush carpets, lovely restaurant with booths so private and cozy large room with walk in hot shower and TV. Have been here before big difference. Staff very attentive. Lovely 3 course meal, haggis Bon Bon’s, steak chips and trimmings then churros and chocolate. High class chef and brilliant waiter. Car parking and quiet area. This is a hidden gem in Perth you must go!! Fantastic price for stay and food. We will be back.

That I had to buy a bottle of wine instead of a glass but to be fair could have gone through to the bar.

A useful hotel for business.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little jaded, but clean and there is free parking. It's fine for solo business, but I'd look elsewhere if I was bringing family.

They don't do a proper breakfast anymore. Just continental. The bar closes at 10.

Room looked very nice, quite cool with big bay window. Should have been a very nice stay.

No electricity all evening and night. No power, TV, charging, lights. Evening sat in the dark using the torch on my phone. No explanation. Had to go find a staff member who said there was issue but electrician working on it. They obviously failed. Couldn’t shower in morning as pitch black in bathroom. No apology when I checked out.

Only decent thing about the hotel is the receptionists are very friendly and helpful

Beds were terrible! They were not far from touching the ground! Could also feel the springs on the mattresses, room was so cold and the bathroom, hotel is really noisey had to listen to doors being slammed all night and people chatting right outside our window early hours! Breakfast was a shambles we only had toast as there was nothing left and anything that was left got taken away as the roof was leaking! Will definitely not be staying again!

Worse money for value during our entire two weeks' trip throughout the UK.

The room was really spacious.

We were greeted with “the bad news is that there are only breakfast slots available at 7 or 7:30 a.m.” We then had to pre-order the English breakfast. When we arrived, we waited longer than average for a small portion. There was no coffee machine, only instant powder that felt like it was from the last millennium. Our room was freezing cold when we arrived. We had to figure out for ourselves if and where there were any controls and how to heat the room a little. The insulation was so poor that there were drafts and we caught colds. The walls were also very thin, so we could constantly hear the traffic outside and our neighbors in the next room and their TV.

Pleasant. If the weather had been better we could have walked into the city for a look-see.

Dinner in the restaurant was surprisingly good. The waiter was very helpful, friendly and generally a delight. The steak was one of the best we've had. The hotel was quiet and we slept well. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were friendly and helpful (particularly with the toaster!)

Although the room was adequate the window could only be left ajar or wide open and would benefit from the addition of a stay. The standard of cleaning could have been better.

Excellent Staff, all the staff could not do anything more to assist, very friendly and cheerful and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the hotel. Clean room, Lovely white clean linen throughout, Good Mattress and excellent that an iron and ironing board was in the room +plus extra pillows

It is obvious that the hotel is in need of an upgrade, but the helpful staff throughout the hotel and atmosphere more than made up for the lack of modern day decor

Good for a few hours stay.

Staff was friendly even when we were 30 minutes late for breakfast.

The receptionist was very comfortable stating my personal details out loud, all we wanted was to leave a bag behind the desk and she couldn't decide if taking the bag with a name was quicker than going through the full process of checking in when we clearly were in a rush around noon. We finally checked in around 11pm when there was no one available for 10 minutes and we walked around the entire ground floor. Breakfast was nice, but the croissants were raw and the receptionist was also our waitress which was not great since she kept going back and forth and forgetting our requests. The room was comfortable but the shower was a bit sad.
