Fabulous stay and lovely food very attentive staff.

Cosy all been redecorated plush carpets, lovely restaurant with booths so private and cozy large room with walk in hot shower and TV. Have been here before big difference. Staff very attentive. Lovely 3 course meal, haggis Bon Bon’s, steak chips and trimmings then churros and chocolate. High class chef and brilliant waiter. Car parking and quiet area. This is a hidden gem in Perth you must go!! Fantastic price for stay and food. We will be back.

That I had to buy a bottle of wine instead of a glass but to be fair could have gone through to the bar.

A useful hotel for business.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little jaded, but clean and there is free parking. It's fine for solo business, but I'd look elsewhere if I was bringing family.

They don't do a proper breakfast anymore. Just continental. The bar closes at 10.

Room looked very nice, quite cool with big bay window. Should have been a very nice stay.

No electricity all evening and night. No power, TV, charging, lights. Evening sat in the dark using the torch on my phone. No explanation. Had to go find a staff member who said there was issue but electrician working on it. They obviously failed. Couldn’t shower in morning as pitch black in bathroom. No apology when I checked out.

Only decent thing about the hotel is the receptionists are very friendly and helpful

Beds were terrible! They were not far from touching the ground! Could also feel the springs on the mattresses, room was so cold and the bathroom, hotel is really noisey had to listen to doors being slammed all night and people chatting right outside our window early hours! Breakfast was a shambles we only had toast as there was nothing left and anything that was left got taken away as the roof was leaking! Will definitely not be staying again!

Worse money for value during our entire two weeks' trip throughout the UK.

The room was really spacious.

We were greeted with “the bad news is that there are only breakfast slots available at 7 or 7:30 a.m.” We then had to pre-order the English breakfast. When we arrived, we waited longer than average for a small portion. There was no coffee machine, only instant powder that felt like it was from the last millennium. Our room was freezing cold when we arrived. We had to figure out for ourselves if and where there were any controls and how to heat the room a little. The insulation was so poor that there were drafts and we caught colds. The walls were also very thin, so we could constantly hear the traffic outside and our neighbors in the next room and their TV.

Pleasant. If the weather had been better we could have walked into the city for a look-see.

Dinner in the restaurant was surprisingly good. The waiter was very helpful, friendly and generally a delight. The steak was one of the best we've had. The hotel was quiet and we slept well. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were friendly and helpful (particularly with the toaster!)

Although the room was adequate the window could only be left ajar or wide open and would benefit from the addition of a stay. The standard of cleaning could have been better.

Good for a few hours stay.

Staff was friendly even when we were 30 minutes late for breakfast.

The receptionist was very comfortable stating my personal details out loud, all we wanted was to leave a bag behind the desk and she couldn't decide if taking the bag with a name was quicker than going through the full process of checking in when we clearly were in a rush around noon. We finally checked in around 11pm when there was no one available for 10 minutes and we walked around the entire ground floor. Breakfast was nice, but the croissants were raw and the receptionist was also our waitress which was not great since she kept going back and forth and forgetting our requests. The room was comfortable but the shower was a bit sad.

Absolutely excellent - will be booking again

Excellent Staff, all the staff could not do anything more to assist, very friendly and cheerful and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the hotel. Clean room, Lovely white clean linen throughout, Good Mattress and excellent that an iron and ironing board was in the room +plus extra pillows

It is obvious that the hotel is in need of an upgrade, but the helpful staff throughout the hotel and atmosphere more than made up for the lack of modern day decor

Lady at reception was lovely, great check in and out. Also missed breakfast service as it was finished at 9am on a sunday which is very early however the staff offered to grab something if we wanted to take it away.

The rooms are very close together, more like a house made into multiple rooms, walls were paper thin could hear others using the toilet. Rooms were clean but could have been cleaner, they have tried to modernise it with updated furniture/decor but the bathroom/shower was terrible, bathroom door didnt close shut and the bed was really small.

Breakfast was awful. Cold beans, very rubbery overcooked eggs bouncy even. Ready potato scones more like greasy wall tiles. Sausage was the cheapest meat cut if any meat they could get. Has browns again must be cooked in old oil. Orange juice watered down. Yuk!!! Such a disappointing start to a day. As for the room you had to be under 5ft to fit in the door or shower and even the bed although the bed was a rollercoaster if both people kept still you might be able to sleep but one movement from only one and the other is going to feel seasick. Not ever a place we'd stay again.

Bed was comfortable.

Bathroom was clean, hotel is very tired and in need of an upgrade. Looks nothing like the photos online. Rooms are not soundproof, was kept up all night listening to screaming couples. The bar downstairs is super noisy and will keep you up.

Spacious, clean hotel with great staff and facilities, though badly let down by the shower.

Plenty of parking available and easy to find, with a big, clean room that had a lovely skylight. The bed was comfortable and spotless, and the bathroom was also clean. Staff were fantastic throughout, and the bar area was great. The location made it easy to get into the city as well.

The only downside was the shower. The temperature was either boiling hot or freezing cold, and the water pressure only worked when the water was freezing.

Very close to Perth Royal Infirmary

Staff are amazing, very friendly, helpful and chatty. Room was fine, we had the small standard room 203. It was clean, fresh and comfy. Remote didn't work but staff member came up and showed us how to work it. Food in restaurant is simple good honest food. We had the beef/ chicken kebab and it was presented beautiful. Tasted lovely. Decent price too. It's a short walk from PRI and that was a godsend.

I don't think there is anything to dislike, it's a comfortable simple overnight solution for Perth Royal Infirmary.

Great value stay

The hotel is excellent value. Having read comments/reviews I had slightly low expectations, and the rooms/building of the hotel is very dated. However the beds are perfectly comfortable, the room more spacious than a Premier Inn type, toiletries and bottled water was included. And then a breakfast including cereal, fresh juice, bread/toast/rolls and cooked breakfast. The breakfast setup is small but it covers all the usual bases and for that to be included for the price I paid is excellent value.

The building we stayed in, next door to the main, was very dated and slightly daunting to walk into - the first perception is pretty poor! But once you're in the doors and into your room and get past the old-fashioned decor, this is actually a really convenient and good value hotel.

To wasn’t working the remote wouldn’t connect. Did say to staff but it never got fixed. Shower wasn’t the best but had a bath. Never got clean towels for the Saturday. Breakfast was ok eggs could have been better. To be far was a nice location a good sleep a good breakfast for the price to me that’s great.
