Functional hotel, well located, but not very cosy.

Excellent location just next to the A9. Very friendly and responsive staff.

Breakfast quality and variety not the best. Rooms are functional but not particularly cosy.

Well run hotel - welcoming, comfortable and clean.

Ease of access to main roads, ample parking, clean facilities, quiet, comfortable rooms and a variety of choices at breakfast. All staff were friendly and efficient in their roles. Special shout out to Becca who gave us a genuinely warm welcome - a lovely start to our break!

Last minute booking and was completely happy with everything

Spotlessly clean, staff were lovely and breakfast exceeded our expectations

Not within walking distance especially at night when going for a meal in the town centre but there was a GK pub & Grill right next door which was good.

Basically it’s great value for money and is clean with everything you need for a short stay.

Easy to find with good facilities, even a lift. Breakfast was great and the bar had a limited menu but there is a restaurant next door.

The heating wasn’t great considering that it was below freezing outside.

It was good for us ..

Our stay was good ...clean rooms and towels everyday..breakfast good ..

Windows in the bedrooms were very draughty....I had my son and family in another room but it was very cramped 2 children and 2 adults..with 2 large suitcases ther was no room to move ,a bit disappointing..I did approach the desk to ask for another room but hotel w room all full ...ee stayed 4 nights ..when I booked I asked for a family room double and 2 singles for them ..they had lot of luggage coming from Dubai .

Everything was good, including the breakfast but the evening meal was more or less a microwaved overpriced “Indian” ready meal. Words cannot describe how awful it was.

Breakfast was good, however more though is required regarding the layout for ease of access.

1. The room showers are poor regarding water flow. 2. The jam /marmalade at breakfast is disgusting as is the bulk dispensers. Obviously for management convenience rather than the customer.

Late flight in to Edinburgh from Europe. Couldn’t face the 5 hour drive home so stayed the night here. Megan was lovely

Better than my expectations of a budget priced hotel, and with an extremely comfotable large bed

The bed was extremely comfortable and very large (super king, it seemed). The pillows were also very good, ...and the bath towels thick and of a generous size Breakfast was good for the price of the hotel - and better than their own advance details which talked if a 'breakfast bap' when it was in fact a buffet. Croissants, min muffins, oranges and apples, fruit compote and yoghurt were bonus items alongside the expected cereal, toast, and cooked breakfast Apparently food available 24 hours a day

The cooked breakfast was very functional. with rather rubbery scrambled egg. We didn't have an evening meal in the eating area but it looked very processed. Inevitbale, given th ebonus of being prepared at any hour of the day or night.

Ok. Poor attitude from night manager and not enough pillows.

The location was good, check-in process was smooth and the gentleman on reception at check-in was nice.

We had booked a room for 4 (Double room with sofa bed). Upon getting into the room we noticed that there was only one pillow allocated for each person. This would have made watching TV in the evening or sleeping very uncomfortable. We asked for another pillow each (the photos clearly show two pillows on each side of the bed so I am guessing it’s recognised that for guest comfortable two pillows per person is ideal). We were told by the night manager (lady) that we could only have two more pillows. When this was questioned she said we didn’t need more, asked how many nights we were staying (not sure why that’s relevant) and stated we could only get two. When we suggested that for our comfort we did need more we were told that we didn’t :/Her attitude was poor. I don’t appreciate being told what my needs are when I know what they are and am communicating them to try to get a decent service. If there had been a shortage and she had explained this in a friendly manner I could have chalked it up to ‘these things happen’ but for her to approach the situation with a bad attitude and no justifiable reason for withholding other than her opinion that we “didn’t need” what we asked for is poor customer service.

Efficient and pleasant booking in at reception. Lift to room. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

Bar service was very slow and cautious. More detail to not spilling measures and cleaning up spillage rather than serving customer. No napkins at breakfast

Bedroom spotlessly clean, beds and pillows very comfortable excellent shower. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Plenty of off road parking and adjacent restaurant for meals.

Shame no Tennants lager on tap or canned, poor choice of whiskys. It is Scotland after all , who wants Spanish beer.
