Adequate. Wouldn’t book again. For the same price we could have stayed at Premier inn and been warm!

Very clean.

Even though the heating was on, the room was very cold (it was February). If a fan heater had been provided it would have made a big difference. The duvet was also thin Summer weight so we were cold at night.

Awful

The hall was overpowered with air freshener, which made me wonder what it was masking. The room smelled dirty. The sheets had dirty marks on them. There were 3 large spiders between the room and bathroom. Hairs in places you wouldn’t want to see. The wallpaper was filthy. Every time someone walked passed the room or went to the bathroom / shower in another room the sounds were loud. I didn’t sleep and felt uncomfortable. Not for me.

Marvellous

I had an exceptional stay at The Dunallen Guest House. The owner was a charming, delightful Man called Paul who went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and to ensure I had a pleasant stay. Sadly I did not meet his wife, hopefully next time I shall. At around 11pm I disturbed Paul with a request for a lamp so that I could study into the night; despite my request at such a late hour he went and brought a lamp for me so that I could study! The room I stayed in was charming, comfortable, smelt divine and had all I needed. The bathroom had these delightful Korean cleansing cloths which were marvellous and I now need to buy! I cannot rate this guest house highly enough- my stay here exceeded all my expectations and I shall stay here again.

Out of the way for a pedestrian - and not terrific value for a small noisy room

Very clean. Everything worked. Warm room.

Very long walk from bus or train station with luggage. I got a very small room - but it was also very noisy as it faced a very busy street. When I mentioned it to the proprietor, and said I had a sleep problem, he showed no empathy - simply stating that this info was stated on the website. It was and I didn't see it - but he seemed to care only about covering himself, not his guests comfort. His wife was very helpful though - offering me a plaster for a blistered foot on request.

Host Paul was very helpful and approachable. My room was lovely, very clean and good tea/ coffee provisions. Bed very comfortable so I slept well. The instant porridge pot was appreciated as I had to be away early and no place open early for breakfast. Handy location for the area.

It Was Clean And Well Organised And It Was Quiet Too Wholst Tge Bed Was Quite Good With The Fact That My Room Was In Accor

It Was ONLY Slightly Cold And There Were NO Disposable Containers And Disposable Cutlery etc... With The Comfortable Bed And I Was Satisfied With The Fact That My Room Was On The First Floor As I Had Requested And I Had Preferred It For It To Be On The First Floor Obviously.

I had the best night's sleep here! The room was lovely, the bed comfortable, the guest house and the neighbourhood both so quiet, and the little touches (such as the porridge pot and the face wipes) all made my stay exceptional. I would highly recommend it.

Cozy and Comfy near Scone Palace

Gorgeous little bedstay on the outer edges of Perth. Far enough away from the hustle of the city while still being only a few minutes drive from the centre.

I wish there was the option for breakfast included, but I always want that!

Nice comfortable room with tea, coffee and a breakfast pot provided. Easy check-in and check-out. Quiet overnight.

Parking is limited. I arrived late on a busy weekend but was aware I might not get parked at the guest house. Available on street parking is a short walk away.

Comfortable and convenient for an overnight break on a long drive.

Very convenient location for late arrival and early departure. Parking outside the property. A small but comfortable and quiet room with all I needed for the overnight stay. Paul was very helpful over my arrival and taking care of medication that required a fridge overnight, and of ice blocks for day travel of medication. I love these older style houses with good big doors, wide staircase, etc. The larger rooms must be lovely!

We were made to feel very welcome and even got discounts for the local eating places. Parking outside was just great too. Beds were very comfy.

The host Paul was incredibly welcoming and helpful. You'll find a list with restaurants in your room and Paul gave us some great tips about what to see in the area. The Guest House is only a few minutes away from the centre and if you arrive by car, you don't need to drive into the centre.

The room didn’t smell very fresh and we needed to open the window wide for a while whenever we went in. Decor a bit dated but that didn’t bother us.
