Lovely wee hotel.

Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and coffee station ample for our short stay.

Firmness of our bed wasnt Great. My partner had been in surgery 5 weeks prior and was still recovering. However, the staff were extremely helpful and sorted this out.

I checked in quite late (23:30), and the front door was locked. I tried the mobile number on the front door, but that was not picked up. Fortunately the booking.com email had a different mobile number, and that worked fine.

Friendly Staff

Friendly staff curious and polite. Warm atmosphere although it was a frosty night. Breakfast was excellent I particularly loved the service yourself counter orange just and apple juice was at the correct temperature. Everything was as expected and more so.

I would stay again.

The good points for me was it had gym facilities that could be used and the choice for breakfast.

The down side was dinner. The dinner menu could have better choices, ended up ordering from a high tea menu. I didn't really want a hot drink, cakes or even toast. I ordered fish and chips and why I could not get bread instead of toast with that. Parking was also restricted.

Our stay was made amazing by the staff. The Friday receptionist and Helen at breakfast. These two were exceptional, quiet possibly the nicest people ever. Not only did they make the hotel welcoming, they make the world a better place.

Great location with lots to do within short walking distance. Breakfast was great and Helen looked after us very well. Friendly staff on reception and check-in was very easy..

The older lady on the Sunday breakfast shift was fantastic. The hotel was dated but well kept. Room was very clean but basic and needs abit of an upgrade. The breakfast was great and lots of choices.

The hotel was welcoming, comfortable, and well staffed. I would stay there again.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Location was perfect, overlooking the river and short walk to bars and restaurants. The hot breakfast was good.

We tried the evening Christmas menu in the restaurant and were very disappointed. The turkey main and christmas pudding desert, looked and tasted like a cheap supermarket meal deal.

Evening meal was good, including cake and scones. Breakfast was really good too, good selection of hot food and continental.

Wasn’t aware there was free parking behind hotel, as no signage. We told staff we paid to park near by. So after getting instructions, hubby brought our car to hotel. Even then wasn’t easy to see as entry is off a main street, easily missed.

The choice of breakfast was great. A request for porage was met on two mornings.

A lift would have made access to upper floors easier for guest with walking sticks. A handrail on the right hand side of stairs would have made it safer to get to upper floors.

Lovely hotel in Perth.

Warm and friendly. Nice breakfast. Staff very attentive. Beds extremely comfy. Shower was good. Lovely room and very spacious.

Having stayed here several times previously we will definitely not stay here again.

Location is excellent for being in the city

Mattress and pillows was terrible, the floor squeaks when you walk over it, the bathroom is very dated with mildew evident around the bath, one tap would not work the toilet pan moves when you use it not a good experience. We placed our suit bags on top of the wardrobe when we arrived and when we took them down they were covered with approximately a years worth of dust.

Location and history of the building is amazing. Breakfast was standard but the lady who staffed it was amazing, so funny and kind.

The age of the building is starting to show with the pipes popping and banging during the night. Also the dinner service was very slow and was only 4 people in the restaurant. Waited an hour for our dishes. Also our dessert arrived still frozen when it was meant to be hot apple pie. Manager did refund it.

A fantastic overnight stay

Location was fabulous and it was a dog friendly place that’s why I chose this particular hotel. The staff were all friendly, the exceptional one was Helen who helped us with breakfast. What a fantastic asset you have with Helen! Her professionalism and friendliness was outstanding.
