Nice B&B in Perth

Good location a short walk from the city centre. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast.

Flush on the toilet was a bit temperamental and usually took a few presses to work properly.

I would stay again as I love the mix of modern decor with traditional features of a period property. I was a sole travel

It was cosy with good sized rooms in a lovely traditional B&B. Good on suite facilities. The breakfast was tasty and high standard with good quality toast not usual white processed. Great host. The bed was very comfortable.

The toilet took more flushes than normal to work but this is minor issue.

Breakfast excellent, plenty of private parking. Staff lovely. Single room was comfortable, and I knew in advance that my private bathroom was along the landing.

Website or staff could tell guests that there's more parking space available round the back, and how to get there (shortcut).

I didn’t realise that I didn’t have an en-suite room but private bathroom, but the host upgraded me to en-suite Also was allowed early access without charge Breakfast was fabulous with extensive choices; hosts very amenable and helpful ( booking taxis etc) bus stop to town outside property and few minutes away

Lovely staff in Perth

Excellent B&B, friendly hosts, great breakfast. Room and bathroom fastidously clean. Thr B&B is a pleasant and leisurely 15-minute walk to the city centre. Great value.

The bathroom is minute, but the shower cubicle was reasonable.

Fantastic place to say, outstanding breakfast, highly recommend.

Such a lovely place to stay, incredibly friendly and hospitable. The location was just outside the centre, which was great as it was nice and quiet. A bus to town is quick and easy if you don't feel like walking. Slept fantastically, and the breakfast was outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again - I am sure I'll be back, and would happily recommend it as a place to stay.

Fantastic hosts - a warm & welcoming stay

-Incredible customer service, fantastic hosts. I became quite unwell on my first night there, and they made space for me so I could stay an extra night and recover. Very kind and considerate. On my first day I also arrived quite early, and my room was ready, so they let me in regardless. Very very nice owners. -good breakfast selection, cold and hot selections -nice clean rooms -Excellent location, so close to Perth city centre

-the only thing I can think of is that the shower was very weak pressure. But everything else was great

The room was very small and rather dingy. A very small bathroom is built into the room, but is too small to contain a hand basin, which is separate and in the room itself. Lighting for bedtime reading, a single table lamp, is inadequate.

A little disappointed.

Comfortable bed and facilities very clean. The dinning room was very smart and I imagine that judging from reviews that the cooked breakfast would be very good however I just had cereal and toast from the well stocked buffet table..

My reception by the host was not particularly friendly and no pleasantries were exchanged other than just showing me to my room, informing me as to what time breakfast was served and which front door to use. After that he just disappeared with no explanation as to where he could be found should I have any questions. I had no idea as to the Internet password and no advice as to reccomendations as to eateries. Apparently information was in a drawer somewhere but as I was staying only one night I did not open any. The ensuite was only a little larger than a double wardrobe with a sliding door which didn't close. This would be somewhat embarrassing should I have been sharing with my wife, equally there was only one bedside table lamp. Perhaps this was a single room but it did have a double bed. The walk into town involves walking through a very insalubrious area of Perth.

A Perfect Stay at Hazeldene Guest House

We had a truly delightful stay at Hazeldene Guest House. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the tea and coffee facilities and the fridge in the room, which was a real bonus. Off-road parking made arrival stress-free, and the location is ideal, just a 10-minute walk into Perth town centre. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, setting us up perfectly for the day. The hosts were warm yet unobtrusive, striking the perfect balance between hospitality and privacy. All in all, a flawless experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hazeldene to anyone visiting Perth. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely Guest House with a friendly host, Situated near to the town and great value for money

The owner was the perfect host

Room has been made en suite by using a corner of the room to convert to a bathroom. Its rather tight and losing another foot either side of the bedroom would have been a better choice

I arrived later than anticipated for my one night stay in a large single room and was met intially by Glenda who was very friendly and confirmed that I could leave my car where I'd parked it at the front of the property. I was then given the key to my room which was very clean and more than adequately sized for one person with all the amenities advertized and a very nice ensuite shower room. I decided to go straight out for the pint I felt I'd earnt and the short walk to the pub took me along a delightful bridge spanning the beautiful (even in the rain!) River Tay. I went back to my room for an early night and made use of the coffee making facilities before retiring for a decent night's kip in a comfy bed. The following morning I went down for the breakfast included in the price and was met by a most attentive Rob who pointed me in the direction of the wonderful buffet before taking my order for a full Scottish. The buffet really was excellent but was somehow bettered by the main course which, in my opinion, was flawless. Rob was always on hand to attend to customers' requests despite clearly being very busy while Glenda worked hard to keep the food coming! A great combination. The fact that such a lovely breakfast was included in the already competitive price was a great bonus. I then set off on the next part of my journey well rested and very well fed!

The only issue I had is one that's probably beyond the control of Rob and Glenda and that was that my room was situated at the front of the property and the traffic on the busy road was very noisy at times. It didn't really prevent ME from getting a decent night's sleep but I appreciate that lighter / less tired sleepers may find it more troublesome. I didn't get the chance to use the shower so I can't comment on how good it is but it certainly looked spacious enough.
