Pension Helmhof

The location was just lovely. Beautiful spot and a short walk to train and bus stations. Little village just a few steps away with lovely little restaurants. The staff were lovely and Andrea was so helpful in accomodating our late check in due to train delays and suggesting great places to go and see. She suggested a stop at a beautiful lake which had been the favourite of our travels. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight. Sitting out in the garden courtyard with a lovely breakfast was a great way to start the day. Room was large and spacious and comfortable.

The pension is well located and very spacious common areas. It was an hidden gem that we found in Salzburg. Friendly hosts and amazing breakfast, nice outdoor swimming pool to use during summer. The whole stay was great.

It could have a shared kitchen or cooking facilities for families with babies.

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Our host even did our laundry which was appreciated!!

Our hosts were so lovely! They made sure we were comfortable and helped us with directions and bus passes. The breakfast was delicious and they even brought out gluten free bread for our daughter with celiac. The location is great - so quiet, but also an easy bus ride into the city center. We were in Salzburg during a heat wave and were very grateful for the fans in the rooms! We loved the Austrian hospitality!
