Wineport Lodge

Very hard to pick just one, from arrival until departure everybody in the hotel are very welcoming and friendly! The facilities, the room, food and drink (cocktails unbelievable) so much to do and very relaxing!

Our stay was fab from start to finish. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna & bubbly package when we arrived. The room we stayed in was stunning overlooking the lake. The option to have breakfast to the room with no additional charge was a really nice touch. We also thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. There was a lovely, calming vibe around which made it very easy to switch off and relax.

That we only stayed for 1 night (lol). A bath in the room would've been extra nice.

The view over the lake was amazing. The restaurant is beautiful, dinner and breakfast were top notch, coukdnt fault a thing. The hot tub on the lake in the sunshine was such a treat, fabulous experience. All the staff we encountered were polite, friendly and helpful, a credit to the establishment.

Room was a little small, ok for us as we only stayed 1 night, any longer may have been an issue.

The food was not half as good as the previous time which was around the 10th June. I had the cod risotto and this time it was bland. The starter was chicken and it was too firm. Didn’t enjoy the cookies dessert. But the fish cakes for lunch were Devine and the wine both nights were beautiful. Menu was restrictive. My husband had the duck. He said it was only fair. Don’t like the sharing steak. It wasn’t hot enough.
