Great for a short stay!

Personnel was great! Specially Konstantina (waiteress) was amazing by talking to us every time we met her in any of Grecotel's restaurants, always smiling and also lady making omelettes (still looking happy after entire season)! I wish personnel would behave like that in every hotel! In addition, evening concerts very much appreciated by us!

The only thing that was not best was our room. It felt and looked like a cave! It could be nice when temperature is high but in October, it was a bit uncomfortable and outdated.

Gorgeous location. Very attentive staff. Supern food in all 3 restaurants we tried. Conveniently close to airport, so transfer only took 15 mins or so.

The Beach Alone Is Worth the Stay 😍

I spent 8 days here with my mother and we truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the staff always kind and helpful. What I loved the most was the private beach area: a well-kept lawn with sunbeds, leading down to soft sand and a stunning sea, surrounded by olive and palm trees. This is without a doubt the highlight of the hotel.

That said, there are some positives. The personnel is excellent—very polite, attentive, and welcoming, offering service that feels truly five-star. Cleaning is good, though not excellent, and the beach area is nice, even if it does not fully match the photos advertised. The location is also very nice, which makes the shortcomings even more disappointing. Some sunbeds, however, are broken and again fall short of the Grecotel standard. The fine dining is around 8/10 (coming from a Greek local and gastronomy enthusiast). The hot stone first plates are a pleasant touch, but the quality of the meat served with them is extremely poor and drags down the experience.

It hurts me to write the below because I really liked the personnel but as someone who has stayed at many Grecotels across Greece, I can confidently say that this property does not meet the standard the brand is known for. The biggest issue—and one that truly ruins the experience—is the overwhelming problem with bees around the food areas. They are everywhere during the day, to the point where eating becomes almost impossible. Bees land on your plate, fly into the food, and even get inside the cheese of the pizza. This isn’t a minor nuisance; it’s a serious, constant problem that makes dining very unpleasant. The food quality itself is average. As a local Greek who has been to multiple Grecotels and luxury all-inclusive resorts, I would say it does not justify the price point. It may impress some foreign visitors, but for those familiar with higher-end resorts in Greece, the food is simply underwhelming. The “Asian” restaurant in particular is below average. Additionally, while the restaurants are marketed as “à la carte,” there are hidden limitations on the number of dishes you can order per person—something not clearly stated on their website or policies. The buffet closes at 9:30 p.m., which in my opinion is very early for a resort of this level. The late-night snack menu is also very poor, and the room service prices are extremely high (for example, €36 for a simple chicken breast). To add to that, the juices (such as the orange juice I tried twice) were extremely watered down, almost like drinking plain water. Another issue is communication with reception. It is practically impossible to reach them by phone, either through the main line or the in-room telephone. Guests are forced to text via WhatsApp, which is inconvenient and not what you would expect from a Grecotel. If you care about fitness facilities, the gym is extremely poor.

Corfu was better than we expected and so relaxing.

Great facilities, good food, service, very spread out, well maintained and a fantastic private beach.

The pool area was tired, booked out, busy and not in keeping with the rest of the hotel. The rooms were comfortable but in need of renovation.

Would not recommend if you are behind a q/p hotel in Corfu. Pay a bit more and choose the sister Corfu Imperial

The buffet is the real highlight of the hotel with availability of nice food and quality service despite the crowds.

The common point, this is not a hotel well reflecting quality/price ratio. We had to change two rooms (despite an unfortunate ‘lottery’ offer from the hotel!) and the rooms got just worse. It is like grandma’s guesthouse frozen 30 years ago. Double bed was not available, so we had to sleep over a merged twin option. The all inclusive service doesn’t explain the higher prices in this situation. The sister grecotels next to here are in much better situation. The staff are trying to help, but are not equipped with right tools. After paying approx 3000 €, and raising our discontent we were offered a ‘funny’ 10 € taxi coupon for city center.

Barbati and Paleokastritsa are much much better concerning the sea Overly priced due to these… paid the same amount to Club Med 2 weeks ago it was much better. Rooms were new, food was great, much more activities. This hotel does not deserve this price.

Ace beachfront property with stunning views and exceptional staff.

Wonderful hospitality - we were part of a larger group of 11 people, some of whom had quite strict dietary requirements. Staff went out of their way to meet everyone’s demands and did so with a smile on their faces. Theoklis and Chef Yanis were exceptional. Hotel rooms were well equipped and clean - not super modern, but nonetheless well maintained. The location as a beachfront property and views were stunning. Pool is large enough and the gym & recreational facilities were plentiful.

We found it disappointing that sun loungers around the pool were ’taken’ by personal belongings very early in the morning, then people would go for breakfast, we watched from our balcony every day. We think this was unfair and had to go to the beach when we would have liked to sit at the pool. Families with children did not seem to use the pool provided for them. Maybe we should have booked an adults only holiday.

Amazing long weekend in high class resort

Right from entering the Hotel we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly taking care of our comfort and well being. There was a small pipe leakage in front of our room and they fixed it immediately and a bottle of champaign and fruit plate was waiting for us with an apologies letter. The quality and diversity of the food was amazing. We really enjoyed every moment.

On one day there was a small misalignment on the schedule for the sport activities and the actual start time, so some missed the sessions. Just as a tip, a small playground for kids on the beach would be nice.

Our room stank so bad, there seems to be a waste drain in the centre of the bathroom floor for water, but it absolutely stinks, was so bad the bathroom door had to be always closed and a towel under it. Also the room was covered in mould. The staff offered to move us but room was same as previous and actually smaller. Food was poor, literally same thing every day and the so called restaurants that they have you either couldn’t get booked or the food was what was needing up in the buffet the next day. Room was really dirty honestly for a “luxury hotel” it was a joke. Also you couldn’t walk anywhere, no local bars or restaurants, it’s basically located on a dirt road.

The location, public areas, restaurants, food and personnel were excellent. The personnel were very polite and provided excellent service.

Great family stay

Great place for families, very welcoming stuff, big selection of food choices. Private beach, daily kids club with fun activities.

Rooms little cold as we travelled in April so air con heating on and very dumpy, no ventilation in the room, but great room size, comfy beds. Wasn’t aware to book dinner in 2 restaurants on site so I recommend to book week before arrival. I was lucky hotel accommodated me one dinner.

Breakfast was fine, fruits and eggs etc, but nothing out of the ordinary here. pROBABLY THE EASIEST TO CATER FOR ALSO........All usual suspects were present, pastry, fruit,cereal, eggs etc etc

Fantastic food, very friendly staff, size of the family room, overall views, amazing olive trees and palms giving shade. Nice pedalo, paddle board, canoe available . Great location and sea (if you go to the beach early). Bar, ice cream, near the beach. Club for kids.

The sea is becoming dirty during the day due to the motor sport. There are lot algae, and it gets dirty in the afternoon. If you come very early morning it is much better. Motor sport should be cancelled to keep the sea in the better state. If you want to walk out of the hotel, you just have very small roads with lots of car. So forget nature walk around. People are booking their sunbeds with towel from 8am so forget relaxing at the pool, and hard to find a spot at the sea as well if you come mid afternoon. Lots of sunbed taken and booked with nobody for several hours…

We paid an enormous price for this hotel - the same as the 5star one next door. In the end we got transferred to the 5star sister hotel because something had gone wrong in our room at Daphnila bay - after a hot 2 hour wait on the beach. The 5star one was ok value for money but our price for this would have been ridiculous. The website was misleading (place looked way nicer) and why were we not shown rooms at the 5star which were available at the same price?.
