Location by the beach, very friendly staff, ready to support, nice restaurants

Had some misunderstanding regarding accommodation, but all was solved.

Our first trip to Corfu was truly unforgettable thanks to the outstanding experience at Daphnila Bay! From the moment we arrived, Karen at Reception made us feel so welcome, and Theolis in the buffet restaurant provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our holiday special. We apologise as we cannot recall a few names but they were fantastic. The Kids Club was fantastic, an inpromptu disco was arranged as the weather was not great and the kids had a lot of fun. The entire resort impressed us with its cleanliness, stunning surroundings, and luxurious feel. We are deeply grateful to everyone at Daphnila Bay for making our stay so perfect — we can’t wait to return!

Pools, beach, room size for a family of five was spacious which is often not the case, very flexible to add another night onto our booking, good selection of food to suit most tastes and snacks throughout the day

Marketed as an indoor pool, whereas it’s outdoor but with a roof, two sides open and not that hot. The bedroom we stayed in could do with a refurbish… not sure if indicative of all bedrooms. Needed more staff to serve drinks

We stayed here as a family and I have really mixed feelings, but I wanted to leave an honest review to help others as the reality did not match what we expected from the website. The biggest issue by far is the standard of the hotel and rooms. After seeing it online, we expected something much higher quality, but in reality the room and overall hotel felt quite grotty and not particularly clean. It feels more like the property is old and run down rather than well maintained. This really impacted the start of our holiday and I was honestly so upset on arrival that it brought me to tears. We did move rooms, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the second room was still not to the standard we expected and still felt poor in quality. There was also an unpleasant smell in the bathroom that never fully went away. Overall, the condition of the accommodation is just not reflective of how the hotel presents itself. The bathrooms are really quite gross and the water comes out brown. The food was another disappointment. The buffet, particularly at dinner, was poor quality, repetitive, and lacked any real local feel. It did not feel fresh and overall felt quite dated. It got to the point where we wanted to book one of the a la carte restaurants instead, but availability was extremely limited. In reality, it feels like these need to be booked well in advance before even arriving, which is not made clear and left us with very few alternative dining options during our stay. We ended up hiring a car so that we could go and buy dinner elsewhere because it was better than having the food we paid for in our all inclusive deal. Breakfast also felt quite rushed. Travelling from the UK with a two hour time difference, we were already trying to get our children up earlier than usual.
